Well, finished the prologue on my 2nd run, got every single thing you couldI told Newboy the amulet was magical and the end of the quest you find him hehe. Just arrived in the forest, but time to go to bed soon.. *sigh* another straight night with maybe 6 hours sleep. I'm averaging around 3-4.. silly work.
I thought this pic at the temple was purdy, so I'll share. (open in new tab to get full size)
I had to kill Newboy...is that avoidable?
Nice pic Nepp!
And yes, Ringo, I guess. Because no matter how much grateful he is to you if you got him his wits back earlier, the meeting later on was unavoidable. We save them so we can kill them! muhauahauahuah:devil:

Why don't I see more info on monsters in the journal, like their methods of attack, vulnerabilities, etc?
Check the Character Screen, Enter for Attributes, on the upper right side, Info on Monsters tab and the level of info on them that you have. At 3/3 you should have it all there.

Say what? This game doesn't have invert look or something? I play with inverted look atleast. Got used to that back in the Tie Fighter and Duke Nukem 3D days.

Inverted mouse will be in the patch.

I didn't have have to kill Newboy. He helped me bypass the guards and I got on to the boat.

This. Told him the amulet was magical, etc etc.
When I escaped the dungeon, he told me he'd distract the guards and he did.
A true bro.

I spared Aryan in the duel, he was in the prison, helped me to go to a secret escape route, and then he pulled an anders and blew up the prison

The mouse is also software emulated hence the sluggish response in menus. Another thing they need to patch.
Go to your advanced configuration settings and disable "Vertical Sync". Then the cursor will no longer be sluggish =)

The only reason for people to **** about TW2 here is to whine about , piddle around and waste time, or to try and start flame wars; as I doubt the guys who made Witcher 2 are actually perusing the forums here to get feedback about the game. As opposed to ...say my posting here about DA2 because BioWare made it? Just a guess on my part. I could be wrong.
Really? I myself have no opinion on TW2 since I haven't played it (although I am playing TW1... not liking it one bit), so I have refrained from actually commenting on the quality of the game. But I've seen more than a few people who were genuinely disappointed (Addai and UpsettingShorts for example), who are hardly "whining about how easily someone else's opinion sways them from their happiness in life".
And does TW2 even have official forums? I know there are the GOG.com forums, but that's not the same. So it's not like they have an official outlet to express their disappointment. Otherwise this thread would be much better off there.
Finally, snarky comments on the DA2 forums aren't what I would call constructive criticism. Some of it is constructive indeed, but other stuff is just making fun at the expense of the dev team.

Hm, it is kind of funny that they talk about the decade when it's just the first year of the decade.

Bah,he chose death before dishonor and I gave it to him. Would've been a solid bro, but at least I got to shove it in his mummy's face.
I love that though. Even in the Prologue you can roleplay a character with actual choices and consequences.
Double.
... I think I'll spare him on my next playthrough.

They are being revamped no idea when they will be online.
Why can't this thread exist? It's offtopic I assume most of are Bioware fans who enjoy other rpgs. Bioware has a much larger community then say CDProjekt's I usually visit these forums. I plan to let CDProjekt know on their forums what can be done to improve the game like many others but here I wanna discuss the game with people who enjoy it and have someone to tell me to go away.

I really liked ending for Aryan if you spared him..I can't compare that to Anders because Anders is in fact a murderer. Honor was what guided Aryan, not some blind vengeance. A short story but a very well executed one.

All it does is prevent people from seeing your profile or sending you messages. It's toothless. It doesn't actually hide forum posts.

Yeah, but I haven't seen anything in this thread that would really qualify.
...except possibly me getting dangerously close to playing amateur volunteer moderator. So I'll quit that.

Exactly, this is off topic, so why are people hating on us talking about the game in a thread about Witcher 2? It's easy to not click on the thread.
