But 'wandering around' for 2 hours isn't the same as 'looking for a guy' for two hours. I'm not saying exploration is bad. I'm saying that you should be able to choose whether you want to explore or if you want to go straight to the quest location.

If you buy TW2, you are a raging homophobe who is likey a closet homosexual. Support gay romance and boycott TW2!

There's a gay male elf in TW2.

I bet he is mutilated and fed to the dogs.

While fighting bandits, I've heard them yell that. I think it's odd along with plough the lilies.

Where does this "plough" or plow, whatever come from? I've never ever heard this kind of an insult anywhere. Is that some archaism?

I'm 99% sure it's another word for "have sex with."

Interchangable with "f*ck"

First bug........HUGE one, sadly.....

I was playing for hours and during a certain mission in Flotsam (Involves sneaking) all dialogue sound completely disappeared. I changed no settings, nothing. Drivers are up to date. People at GOG reported this too, only solution is to force the game using stereo sound rather than surround sound until they patch it. (CDPR is supposedly aware of this) I am utterly depressed, if ever there was a game breaking bug, this is it....:crying::crying::crying::crying:

Sapkowski made it up. If you ever read the books, they don't have the word f*** in them at all, unlike the game.

I like the passer by blaming climate change for the rain...

Plough or plow is a Witcherism... Perhaps it's a literal translation from the Polish.  I would like to know...

It's also peasant vernacular. If you think of the passive partner in the sexual act as the earth... Well, what does the plough do to it?

Modern obscene usage: www.urbandictionary.com/define.php

Sapkowski doesn't speak english if I am not mistaken. But I have a czech translation(which is very close to the polish original) of the books and there are words like f*** .

Ah well, it's the translation stuff I guess.

You're already there? I haven't even finishing act 1 yet? But you do save a lot right? Does an earlier save work? I really don't mind reloading sometimes. Replaying some 10-30 minutes or less to fix something I did wrong is not a burden in this game! (like when I left crafting materials on the ground and went to a fight in Flotsam and died. Reloading erases loot on the ground! Had to reload an earlier save with the stuff on the inventory and it was some 30 minutes old. Gladly, the weightless crafting items mod arrived!)

Nah, its a farming term that has been reappropriated to have a sexual connotation.

I spared Aryan in the duel, he was in the prison, helped me to go to a secret escape route, and then he pulled an anders and blew up the prison

Except that Aryan La Valette did it to preserve his family's honor and dignity. While Anders is a mad, annoying coward. If only I picked the route that doesn't result in Aryan suiciding...Posted Image

That's exactly what I was saying. Kurva(f***) is said a lot of times in the books. But you really didn't need to tell us all the Witcher cussing words, thank you very much.

You are right... polish original(and other european translations) had a lot of these worlds.

This is my second playthrough. Flotsam IS Act I. :happy:First one worked like a charm. Now this happened. Loading saves before DOES bring it back but the Saves involving that mission are corrupted, either Dialogue or Ambiente Sound & Music will disappear suddenly. I hope that restarting the mission might do the trick.
