Sapkowski made it up. If you ever read the books, they don't have the word f*** in them at all, unlike the game.Avalla'ch wrote...
Where does this "plough" or plow, whatever come from? I've never ever heard this kind of an insult anywhere. Is that some archaism?
Sapkowski doesn't speak english if I am not mistaken. But I have a czech translation(which is very close to the polish original) of the books and there are words like f*** .
Ah well, it's the translation stuff I guess.
words that I can see in Sapkowski books: kur.a(English f*** or wh*re), ch*j(English di*k), pie*****ny mutant (English fu***ng mutant) etc, ect... soo I don't see what you talking about...![]()
That's exactly what I was saying. Kurva(f***) is said a lot of times in the books. But you really didn't need to tell us all the Witcher cussing words, thank you very much.
The Legendary "The Witcher 2" RPG.

First bug........HUGE one, sadly.....
I was playing for hours and during a certain mission in Flotsam (Involves sneaking) all dialogue sound completely disappeared. I changed no settings, nothing. Drivers are up to date. People at GOG reported this too, only solution is to force the game using stereo sound rather than surround sound until they patch it. (CDPR is supposedly aware of this) I am utterly depressed, if ever there was a game breaking bug, this is it....:crying:
:crying:
You're already there? I haven't even finishing act 1 yet? But you do save a lot right? Does an earlier save work? I really don't mind reloading sometimes. Replaying some 10-30 minutes or less to fix something I did wrong is not a burden in this game! (like when I left crafting materials on the ground and went to a fight in Flotsam and died. Reloading erases loot on the ground! Had to reload an earlier save with the stuff on the inventory and it was some 30 minutes old. Gladly, the weightless crafting items mod arrived!)
This is my second playthrough. Flotsam IS Act I. :happy:First one worked like a charm. Now this happened. Loading saves before DOES bring it back but the Saves involving that mission are corrupted, either Dialogue or Ambiente Sound & Music will disappear suddenly. I hope that restarting the mission might do the trick.
You're on your second playthrough?! Already? I'm just taking my time and enjoying the environmens, doing all the sidequests. Did you just rush through the main quests or something?

She sold her soul to the devil and got the full experience of Witcher 2 in such a short amount of time.
Of course, that means she is in debt to the almighty Satan, in life and beyond.
But I think it was worth it, imo.
Wish I had the demon summoning spell that she used...

How is that different from my reality?

at least your game doesn't randomly crash to desktop while loading from time to time, or cause a video card hiccup that requires a hard reset
I'm having these problems too.

I know! I meant you're opening a lap difference (if it were a race) =) You'll probably end your second run while I'm still in act 2 of my first! hehe
Let us know if restarting the mission fixed it! Hope it does!

Why don't I have all these issues? My game doesn't randomly crash or anything. My only complaint is the one I had with the TW1. Quicksaves should overwrite, and not stack!
Same here I haven't had any issues whatsoever. I hope it stays that way.

Nope, the only thing keeping it from being so is the Quicksaves stacking(much like TW1).
Seriously though, I think it's the best game released so far. Though it's going to have some stiff competition for GOTY(Deus Ex: HR, Skyrim, Batman: AC, LA Noire and Uncharted 3).

Ali, check it again. Quicksaves (F5) overwrites! The normal save (Esc/Menu/Save) does not and create new files. I just browse to the folder, sort them by "date modified" and delete them all but the latest two. I do a quick save and normal save before. So I delete all the autosave files. At least they're labelled on the folder!

My Quicksaves stack. I have about 100 save files, and I'm barely 10 hours into the game.RageGT wrote...
