If I had a couple complaints about TW2 graphically, its that they went a bit overboard on the bloom. Its a nice effect, but if they just scaled it back a bit it would look far better.

And the little comic style animated cutscenes like at the end of the prologue (I'm still in Act 1) look out of place. I really wish they had stuck with the more concept art/ traditional looking animated cutscenes from TW1. The more stylized ones seem very out of place given how more grounded everything else in the game looks- if anything they seem like they'd be more of a fit in DA2.

But the music is absolutely outstanding and adds a great deal to the game.

Hrm, am I one of the few that doesn't get lost in TW2, and finds it fun to wander around, figuring out things for myself without the hand holding "golden arrow" ?

The mouse is also software emulated hence the sluggish response in menus. Another thing they need to patch.

If you go into Witcher 2--> Documents--> Config--> User.ini  and change Smoothness=1 to Smoothness=0. That helps a little.

You mad because TW2 is superior to DA2 in every single way except the voicework. No, don't kid yourself. TW2's voicework is still brilliant, but not better than DA2's.

 This freaking game is making me upgrade my video card. Think I'm going to go roll on over to Fry's Electronics and see if I can't find a good deal on a DX11 card today. I haven't felt compelled to upgrade for gaming since late 2007 or when I built my current rig.

I bet! It has so much yummy goodness in it. Would've gotten one myself but decided to upgrade to 6870 and go for Premium instead. Just gonna have to get it when I can hehe. Glad to see that it sold out at the store where I usually buy games though.

Objectively, I would say TW2 is the better game. But I don't know if/when I'll finish it.

This may sound weird, but I'd love to play a cRPG from CDP that wasn't based on the Witcher series.

In terms of which recently released game tramples over everything, in my opinion that game is L.A. Noire.

I don't know what about DA2 made you care because nothing in that game made me care about anything, I thought it earned at least a 2/5 imo

A patch should be coming in about a week so, allowing people to customize key bindings, invert the mouse and much more. Here's the info - from [url]http://www.en.thewitcher.com/community/[url]

Patch 1.1 is nearing completion and will be available shortly. It will address a number of issues reported by players such as keymapping, inverting the mouse, sudden crashes, problems with activation, difficulties with the game`s DLC, and more.

Please also note that the Report Button goes to EA's Customer Service, so it's far better to just send a PM to Chris Priestly or one of the other mods here.

My thoughts exactly.

I get lost a few times every now and then(irl too! when visiting a foreign place that is). But I do find it fun to wander around and figure out things for myself as nepp put it. 

I chalk it up as similar to my own experiences like when I go to a foreign country/city/forest for the first time. Can seem a bit confusing at first, but get the hang of it after a while, and mark where x/y/etc is in my mind.

Think we've been a bit too used to having it all spelled out for us on the map, I don't mind it and can see why some would but for me it removes the sense of exploration we can get in an rpg.
Some good ol' fashioned exploration like our ancestors is good for the soul! 

Setting up some markers on the map by yourself could work though.
