Thanks. It took me 2 hours to design her like she is.

She'd like that (Being modded into TW2) as she has a weakness for broody, snarky men...that's why she ends up with Loghain in my fanfic.

Hello - I'm sorry if this has been addressed before but in periodically reading through this thread over the past few days I couldn't find much info on this topic.

For fhose of you who have played TW2 - would you say they have done a better job with sexism issues than TW1?

Personally I'm one of those people that was turned off by the sex card collecting in TW1. I refused to buy it then, and I won't buy it now even though it's only $5 on GOG.

In googling this issue for TW2, I see nude women calendars and Witcher characters in Playboy, and teenaged boys giggling about scenes where Triss flashes her chest or the camera angles are done to expose women obviously and unnecessarily.

I'm just wondering if these scenes are actually done tastefully, or if this is giong to a game where I shake my head.

Does Triss for example stand on her own as a character, or is she just in the game to have sex with Geralt and be oggled?

First off, you accused all the TW2 players of being either homophobes or closet homosexuals.

Indeed, I accused YOU of these things and I showed my distaste towards them. That doesn't mean I am those characteristics. If you call someone a homophobe, it doesn't make you a homophobe.

Hmm since Witcher 1 Triss has become the King's advisor and a pretty important political figure. She is becoming an ever more powerful sorceress. Yes she gets nude but from what I have seen it's very brief in the prologue and in Act 1 it adds to the romantic setting especially since the previous cutscene has Geralt and Triss being all romantic.

Witcher isn't a sexist game it just portrays it in the game world. A lot of the women Geralt meets are powerful women in terms of political might or martial such as Ves, Phillipa or Triss. I am not done with the game but males in the game are sexist ofcourse but its usually in a town like Flotsam with the backwater villagers. In a more progressive area like say Vergen you see a woman leading an army trying to unite people of all races.

What chest injury? It isn't on her naked body in TW2. Geralt certainly looks like Frankenstein though, and that's before he gets tortured.

Again, it's in the context. If you don't want people jumping on your throat then you shouldn't write obvious offensive stuff? Just sayin'

In the books during the first war with Nilfgaard. She suffered a serious chest injury from the opposite mages. She also saw her colleagues die in worst ways and nearly went mad.
As for the injury, it's not seen on her since mages tend to "fix" themselves so they are always perfect.

But Triss suffered the psychological impact too I guess, that's why she keeps saying no to cleavage:whistle:.
