Potion Duration = 30m for all (except cat potion) including all oils 30m

Extract the "Items" folder into the CookedPC folder, inside the install folder, usually on C: Program Files (x86) "install path". If you have the Items folder already there, merge or just copy the contents. =)
Oils which had 1/2 duratiion originally still have 1/2 duration! 15mins x 5 mins originally, like Falka's Blood. =)
Thanks, I really preferred the longer lasting potions.

About potions, only reason I see to limiting them to meditation is that Geralt kind of did that before his fight with striga Adda in the first tale. In game however it just wastes time, although I agree with the no potions between sword strikes idea. I also miss the use Oil on sword animation.

Exactly.
You don't make a game with the production quality of TW2 if you don't have any money.

Alright so I'm stuck in Act 1 on the Endirag Contract, how do I kill the **** of a queen? I tired trapping, both items and spells, using my Quen sign, even parrying. When I trap the queen I can't hit her from behind as she turns around constantly facing me and when I parry, her hit takes out both my bars and then does another hit right after knocking half my health down. Any help/suggestions?
Prior to fighting the queen, go to the various Places of Power in the area and load up on enhancements. The 'Life' one will increase your health regen and 'Power' will increase the power of your signs.

Set snare traps all over the area you know the combat is going to be, to cause her some damage. There are plenty armed snares that you should collect in that forest. Use Petri's Philter to increse sign power. Else she won't free to Yrden and you can't hit her from behind, only spot she's vulnerable. Strong attack combos. Use Quen as well for protection.

Thanks for the mod link Rage; I hate these short-duration potions (along with timed dialogs and QTE anything). Well, actually the fist-fight QTE would be okay if the keys were displayed in the center of the screen rather than off to the sides out of my vision focus.

Heh.. that feels like cheating. One of the good fellows here posted a link to a Crafting materials weight mod, setting them all at 0.01. I am more confortable with that. Still can be encumbered after fighting groups of soldiers and looting all, for instance.

I've finally been able to register my game and after many attempts managed to download Troll Trouble, but then the launcher lost connection trying to verify it. Online activation is a blight on video gaming. I'm close to uninstalling the whole thing.

I anxiously await the mod that removes the necessity to meditate before drinking potions. There's no in-game reason for it that I can see.
Well, kinda does. He needs to mix the potions he'll drink and check for toxicity of the final product. That's why you set t up to 3 of them in a separated panel and he drinks only one bottle. I guess. =)

Could be bypassed easily. I hope this get changed. I also hope possible futur changes have a toggle. I like the apparently infamous finishing a swing before sign, bomb, next swing design.

What I did was Quen up in the beginning then lay a Yrden trap somewhere to run into after destroying the final eggsac. After killing the final eggsac the Queen spawns, I run into my Yrden trap and wait. Queen runs into trap, quickly go to the side or behind (go behind to get the most hits) and whack away. After Queen Yrden duration ends, you go back and repeat.
What I noticed was that either the Queen's charge breaks the Yrden, that's why she was able to still spin around in place. On situations like I had to go further back and set another Yrden.
But damn, learning that fight was hard. I love this game lol.

It seems like it's not possible to remap the keys to my bluetooth NumPad. this is what I use for all games instead of "W" "S" "A" "D" etc
Also when I try to register the game, the fields for "create an account" or "login" options do not allow me to input any text, whether I use bluetooth keyboard or the actual keyboard on my laptop.
anyone else have these problems?

Unlike DA2's ending, the Witcher's comes full circle. I've only gone down one route, though, so we'll see how the other is.
