The Witcher 2 - The Dragon Is Back
Who said Geralt's Voice Actor can't act? He burns very convincingly!
No bonus or imported items used in my new Hard diff run, well, except for the damn great Herbalist's gloves. QTE disabled only for this part. I doubt anyone dares Insane diff with QTE on. Seems to be some bug too. Don't run right away or you're dead!

Wow this thread was like 70 pages long back before the release. I finished the game and it was great! There were some annoyances and bugs but apart from that it was amazing. CDPR delivered, thank you. My biggest disappointments [Spoiler] were lack of an awesome foreshadowing cutscene after credits though I guess the whole Epilogue was like a set up for TW3 ... I have been sitting on the edge of my chair and eagerly waiting but we got only Geralt looking at the ruin and the only plothole that I could find in the whole story which was: Assassin that went after Foltest was from Letho's Witcher group but he is not mentioned by Letho or the other Witchers. [Spoiler]
I would give it a 9.7/10. Witcher 3 some minor tweaks, more and even bigger locations and it will be great.

Welcome to the thread.
Don't worry about the ending. CDProjekt said instead of small dlc they want full blown expansions.

Wait a minute, I didn't get any QTE in this part. That's the bug you are talking about?

I dislike being only able to chug potions during meditation. I miss my Blizzard potion, it would make many fights against mobs much easier. Probably the reason why it was cut.
Alchemy overall is pretty disappointing.

If you have Difficult QTE ON, you'll need to press RMB to take cover after start running... (after the first RMB which I didn't click so I could capture the BBQ). But the bug I mentioned is that, if you start running right away when the first QTE is done, (with Foltest on your shoulder) the dragon will kill Geralt and Foltest. If you delay the running for a bit, somehow it works better to evade the dragon's charge.

Yes I have the difficult QTE on, the thing is that no mouse icon ever comes up, Geralt does it on his own.
Maybe it's bound to the difficulty settings too?

I'm just starting to replay it, and it's cool to see how much the game changes. I wonder how different Chapter 2 will be based on a particular choice.

Just finished the game. *Big Spoilers at the end* Skip over my post unless you've beaten the game
I saved Triss instead of helping Roche secure Temeria's future. So without me, he goes in hot-headed as always and massacres the kaedweni camp, and is now an outlaw. He rescued the princess without me, but until she is of age, the barons are going to run amuk, bickering over each other.
Dethmold got away, and I let Sile blow herself up by not switching out the crystal. You can't monologue like a big bad, and really expect me to help you, can you?
I let Letho go. He outsmarted everyone, and his death meant nothing anymore. Geralt lost the game, except the one thing that truly mattered to him; he still had Triss (the sneaky withholding-information sorceress that she is). Yennefer doesn't even matter anymore.
End spoilers

Spoilers:
I wouldn't say Yennefer doesn't matter anymore since it looks like she will be Geralt's motivation in TW3. Also does Triss die if we don't go to save her? Or does she show up later on her own?
