You'll probably end up liking Iorverth's character a lot if you stick with him.

My first play through I stuck with Iorverth. I really like the VA for him, and that "ring" scene I thought was humorous.

My 2nd, going with roache, I kinda like him, tho he's a dick.

I can't say he is a dick. He is harsh and hot tempered but he is bound by honor and does what is right for his country.

Alright, is there a royal huntsman in Flotsam or what? Where do I take my trophies?

Duh... restarted the prologue about 5 times. I thought I was bugged because I could not acquire skills with the level up talents. Sometimes I did. On the first run that I interrupted starting Act2 I never had to meditate to spend the talents. Somehow, now I do. (and I'm glad I restarted from the 1st run. I confused Vigor on the Training tree with vitality so I messed up my build pretty bad there!)

But, on the other hand, I am now officially an expert on TW2's Prologue up to arriving in Flotsam! =)

That is the spirit.B)

BTW from TW1, you could only update you charater when you meditated.

And you could only meditate at a fire/fireplace (which you had to make half the time). :)

if you are playing on easy you can put your talents without meditation.

So I finished my first playthrough on normal difficulty. Took 30+ hours doing everything and toggling walk once in a while.

+ Graphics
+ Story
+ Cinematic approach
+ Difficulty
- Difficulty (which got ridicilously easy since Act 2)
- Ending (rushed, no way around it)

The minor annoyances were annoying and the rushed last act was somewhat a let down but all in all it was a very enjoyable experience. Combat was in the neutral zone, it worked but wasn't anything spectacular. Didn't get as atmospheric or emotional vibe from this one compared to the first one. And why did they have to remodel and -voice Triss?

8/10 Great Game

You don't like Triss new model?! Blasphemy. Jules de Jongh was the original VA I kind of like the new one.

As for the ending CDProjekt does want expansions instead of small dlc (which will be free dlc) so I don't mind really.

CD Projekt forced me into a romance with Triss even after I dumped her for Shani. I do not like this. I hate Triss with a passion.

Triss has Shani on HER FACE!
The only potential competitor for Triss is Yennefer.

Does anyone know how the Roche Commando Jacket (CE DLC-exclusive) compares to the end game armors? It is supposedly one of the best armors in the game?

Also is it true that the Ultimate Swordsman Suit is just oils/stones and has no item?

Blue Stripes Combat Jacket
7 Armor
3 Enhancement slots
Epic Quality
52 Orens
20 Weight
Vitality + 10
Resistance to incineration +20%
Resistance to Bleeding +10%
Resistance to Poisoning +10%
Damage reduction on block +10
Bleeding +10%

It is hardly the best armor even in ACT I

Replaying the game now... this game is brilliant. Switching between Act II, based on your Act I choice - it's like two games in one. It's brilliant. Simply brilliant.

Naw, I don't like the model that much. I mean, of course from a graphical perspective the TW2 Triss is MUCH better modeled but the direction they took the character (looks much younger and cuteish) doesn't suit her as well - my humble opinion.
The same trend with the new voice. Her character just felt more authoritative and well, powerful, in the first game - and I liked that!

So that's it then?

I've really forgot about that DLC item while I was pimping in my Vran Armor with the Elder Blood gloves/trousers/boots. Those are gorgeous.

DLC items are only valuable in ACT I.
My second endings are Draug Armor + Some crafted gloves/trousers/boots. They are awesome.

Wait a minute, there are TWO Raven armors? Wat?

And the Mahakam Sihill rune sword is supposed to be imported too?
