And Roche's Armor is a CE exclusive items that, of course, "free downloaders" already have put out there. Same for Herbalist's Gloves, Mage's Trousers and Troll DLC.

Heck, they're even using GoG's .exe file because it's said to improve a lot the loading times and performance compared to Steam or retail versions that have DRM!  CDPR's better look into it soon or...

A mate of mine has the gog version, we tested the difference using his exe and paul.dll would make on my retail collectors edition.

Load times while using the standard retail exe with DRM were between 2 and 15!! minutes. Load times with the gog exe were between 5 and 10 seconds... seriously, thats just rediculous.

I don't get how people are having load times going up to 15 minutes I play the Steam version and I load the game in a few seconds on my computer and that's it.

There is a Mahakam Sihill sword plans drop, but only if you fail a quest in Act II.

Some of the best stuff in the game. You'll get it in Chapter 3. Unfortunaly though, you won't have much pleasure of it since it's close to the end game. However, it would be nice to have for when they release an expansion.



As for this picture... Well, I really love the language they use in the game, so bold and rude, I like it. It's very adult.

Hm, it is only better than Caerme if you aren't a swordfighter I think, but I don't know what Freeze does (slow or total immobility?).

Heard from friend of mine that the writing of this game is bit amateurish and you aren't told all the facts and people just happen to know the character without game explaining anything. Any truth in these? Is this game really that brutal for people who haven't played Witcher 1?

It actually freez enemy and immoblized them, which is extremely useful when facing lots of heavy armor knights. Furthermore, its swinging speed is much faster compared to Caerme.

I haven't played TW1 and I managed fine. There are some small comic-like cinematics that sort of explain a few things so it isn't hard to grasp.

Not necessary, because whit wolf him self has already lost all memory. So basically u could filling the world as he is doing. Furthmore, if you really understand ALL character and relations, play through TW1 is no enough. You must read the novels of the Witcher Sagas, which only 1 of total 5 novels has been translated into English.

Makes sense, my friend felt that some of the decissions in the game's plot were bit strange and was bit irked about the fact that people seem to know the main character, but my friend didn't have any knowledge who they were.

Does anyone else have a feeling that there will be a bloodbath when we meet Yennefer in TW3 if we romance Triss? I'm considering doing a playthrough of TW and TW2 where we are just friends though I really love her character and it's hard to do that. The possibilities just don't look very good either there is a catfight and we have to choose one or Yennefer will automatically be pissed off and will start hating us ... I mean hey we have just hooked up with her ex-best friend (+ they are ex best friends because of Geralt anyway). Unless we work out something between the 3 of us.

I don't know how CDPR will work this one out with players who have no emotional connection to Yennefer due to not being able or just not reading the novels when she is supposed to be Geralt's true love and he is obviously going to go after her in TW3 with his memories back his feelings for her will be there as well which creates this problem of Geralt as independent character vs Geralt as controlled by players, because it won't make sense if Geralt just stops loving her for Triss unless we she is somehow brainwashed and used against us.

The very last animated flashback when Geralt sold his soul to the King of the Wild Hunt in exchange for hers was pretty touching. Seeing Yen cry as Geralt is taken has kind of started establishing the bond between her character and the player.

I really didn't like the new drawed cutscenes, I loved TW1's better.

The one showing killing the Salamandra in New Narakort with the cured Vincent trumps everything.

King of the Wild Hunt being the ghost of Geralt's past(s) is a very lame plot development... not that this couldn't already be extrapolated from the cutscene in the cave in the Outskirts of Vizima in Act 1 of TW1; not to mention his whole "you are my tool of Chaos, mwahahaha" evil speech at the end of TW1.

Btw, Triss & Geralt being together at the beginning of TW2 is apparently CANON. It doesn't matter if you previously had a tryst with Shani in TW1. CD Projekt really dropped the ball there, imo.

I can´t help thinking the CDP leads are Geralt-Triss shippers. The situation reminds me of ME2 with Liara. The one who gives all for the main character is put aside for another who was there and didn´t.

I thought the Wild Hunt in Witcher world were elves from another plane?
