If they lived with me they wouldn't have need of those. ;)

I really love this game, and hope CDP releases a toolset because I could finally create beautiful modules with this engine using only what ships with the game.

CDProjekt said they plan to update the Editor for Witcher 2 other then no news on whats happening with it. I'd rather wait for it then not ever get it. *cough DA toolset cough*

I really hope they come around with toolset...Dark0ne from nexus was requesting it some time ago prior to launch stating that nexus community would really appreciate that and how it could boost sales as well but didn't recieve any clear response in regards to this..

I remember reading his thread. Modding does help with sales. Look at Elder Scrolls. If it weren't for being able to mod the game Oblivion would probably not have been succesful considering how much was stripped down from Morrowind. Mods keep the game alive and the community active. I hope that the editior is updated so people can create their own areas not just edit exisitng ones.

To think DarkOne was around 14 maybe 16 when he started the nexus site.  At that age I was not thinking of owning a site...much less noble things.

Geralt's theme.

Cons: No sex cards.

That made me laugh :P.

meh, its just his opinion and quite frankly its a ****** poor review altogether.

"There are just far more fun and intensely more rewarding ways of wasting time. "

I don't think he should be playing video games if he aims for that.

No idea why he is even reviewing an rpg clearly he likes shooters. Gave Modern Warefare a 9.5 seriously you played one you played them all no innovation no changes same engine looks like crap.

Yikes. I was about to check on his past deeds and I just saw all I needed from your post. It explains a lot.

Of course he's not coming from the dead, I was just wondering.
He and Milwa(and pretty much the whole merry band of Geralt's misfits) were the best characters ever so why not just mention them?:D

I don't see he point of having people review genre's they don;t like : /

Oh well Xplay reviews Witcher 2 tonight. I like Adam Sessler as a critic unfortunately he isn't reviewing it.

It's like the woman who openly disliked Fantasy(calling it fairy tale for kids and other deragotary terms) reviewing the Game of Thrones series. Go figure.

Well that person needs to die. Reguardless if she means the show or books both are fantastic.

That´s a bit extreme, besides, she proofed herself a fool. I guess her opinion of TW2 wouldn´t be much different.

Destructoid has their own review up. While I have not played the game yet, I generally agree with his reviews so far. Not that I should care yet, I still havn't finished the first witcher.

Does anyone have any early-level (e.g. the very first tutorial) strategies aside from kiting and rolling? It's really breaking up the flow and fun of combat. I'm playing on Normal and I'm at a part in a relatively small courtyard with about six or seven enemies.

You have to be using everything at your disposal on normal. That includes dodging and parrying which are done manually and are not a passive buffs in this game.

I am using everything at my disposal, but it's not very fun and it looks silly rolling and running around everywhere. If setting it to easy is the only solution, then I guess I'll try that eventually, but I was actually hoping to be able to turn the difficulty up in time.

The best thing in Swordsman tree is ability to attack multiple enemies (whirl) and 200% roll ... I'm owning anything and scaling the whole battlefield with single roll + it is a much faster way of exploring, just rolling through the whole game.

You need to use the Quen sign. Wait for them to swing, dodge and then hit them. I'm replaying after finishing it once and amazed at how much easier the game is this time around. It has a very high learning curve, those early fights are some of the hardest in the game when you don't know what you are doing.

He wanted more hits so w/e. Yeah, when you get Whirl and Adrenaline bar then this game becomes significantly easier on Normal.

OK, replaying the game again intending to take a different story path at a key decision. First time around I went the magical path for character development now I need to choose how to build Geralt. Who can tell me whether the swordsmanship or alchemy path is more interesting?
