After reading the last wish and blood of elves, I think the VA for him fits perfectly. Is there anymore witcher books in english?

You mean Cirri?Shes not "witcher girl" becouse she only learned how fight with sword and such ,didnt went thru mutations.In later novels shes equall character with Geralt.I would love see her in game or game with her as heroine

roll away is implemented in a very realistic way.. can happen when you roll an ennemy hits you..in fact i tend to roll only when ennemys move for attack or to avoid group..i like the combat very much...i also love geralt animations... Someone complained that geralt is very fast and his ennemy are slow... This is not complete true.. First geralt is a witcher a mutant and its more faster than a human.. Second they are monster that have really fast attack... like nekkers or the harpy

I'm a quarter of the way into my second playthrough. Just beat the arachas and I'm meeting with Iorveth. I'm surprised at how much easier the game has gotten this time around. I'm only level 11, but I'm mowing through things with ease. Both the Kayan and Arachas went down in one go (playing on hard).

I think I've truly mastered the combat. And boy can I tell you, it feels damn good. My fight with Letho was actually kind of cinematic, rather than: Yrden - Hit - Run until vigor returns, rinse and repeat."

I lied, got ambushed, and didn't look for her the first time.

Second playthrough: Lied, got ambushed, found the **** and let loredo 'interrogate' her. Mind you, this is on a scoi'atel playthrough. But Gator don't play no ****... Gator never been about playin no ****! (obscure reference to The Other Guys).

edit: My true reasoning was: If Geralt has consequences for every decision he makes, so should this little c... She takes my kindness for a weakness, and she'll be a lesson for all her little friends that I'm soon going to be around.

Finally finished it. (I dunno total time played...is there a way to find out? Probably close to 50 hours...I tried to be thorough, but I'm sure I missed out on stuff in Act 2: I thought I could go back to one place, but didn't get to...)

Interesting ending (especially the info given by Letho near the very end).
Like DA2, it feels like a the game sets up for an interesting 3rd game (only that TW2's execution, IMHO, was much, much, much better...and TW2 is much, much prettier, too. ).

Unlike DA2, tho', I'm excited to start a new playthrough...but I'll probably wait a bit for a patch.
I'm hoping that the patch/es, may hopefully help my framerate a little...wishful thinking for this aging Pentium 4, I know, but still, one can hope
...yes, I finished the game even if my FPS were, on average, probably around or below 20, and would, at times, drop below 10 FPS ...and, yes, I still enjoyed the game.
(I did have to drop difficulty to 'easy', tho', and disabled 'difficult QTEs': fights at around 10 FPS aren't conducive to winning, after all )

DA2 isn't broken? How about the Isabela/Sebastian bug. That's game-breaking. Without the save game editor and a mod I wouldn't be able to finish DA2 at all.

Impregnation:
Level 1: Effects of all Mutagens +15%
Level 2: Effects of all Mutagens +35%

This basically has the oppritunity to break the game if you are smart about it, and if you are lucky on Mutagen drops. Basically by level 27 you should have up to 10 mutagen slots unlocked.

If you put in Critical Mutagens you have a chance to have 60% crit rate, which with armor/potion can be increased to 100% crits.

Or if you want to go with Power Mutagens, and you can get up to 30-60 attack power...ON TOP of your equipped weapon.

Hell go with Strength Mutagens and you can get up to 10 Vitality Regen. With proper armor, you could be unkillable.

I've watched some vids on it and from what I've seen looks insanely hard. This dude I was watching was having trouble beating the prologue. Is it really that difficult or is it that the guy probably didn't play it right?

haha yeah. He usually just whines about every game he plays, but I watch just to see what the gameplay of different games are. From the looks of it though it does look pretty hard.

It is pretty hard if you go in and just 'click-click' You have to dodge, block, use your signs. Traps and bombs help too, and also the fast or strong swings. Some enemies dodge all your strong swings, some the fast attack barely does damage, so you actually have to plan and think about combat.

Not to mention reading the tips (finding out etc) about monsters weaknesses, and what potions to drink, etc.

I said it before, TW2 punishes the stupid.

Finished up the game. It was pretty good, a few issues here and there but the story telling was excellent. However, I did find the last chapter a bit short.

He sucks, he looks like he's expecting the game to do all the work while he clicks clicks clicks. Can't use the signs well, can't use targetting, can't position himself well, can't use strong attacks.

Yeah. He's just crap.

If worst comes to worst, Play it on easy™.

The prologue is probably the best "trainer" level in a game ive played for a while

learn its lessons and the game is great, dont..and youll last 2 mins in a fight

I hate crafting. I spent a lot of money to buy a formula, took a lot of time to collect all ingredients, then just as I had crafted my new weapon I found a sword that had better stats. Not gonna bother with this anymore.
