I want a mod that gives Geralt TW1 hair. I really, really hate the ponytail.Posted Image

Do I have the balm for that....

geralt - old pic removed to link for tidyness :P

lol Just kidding.

People are already doing some mods, but many of the texturemods seem to come with a performance hit. I am still on my vanilla playthrough #1 ( I like to see the stories with the game unmodded first, to see the different endings, THEN I mod to keep me there...) but once the toolset is released I know I will be buggering around with it.

I don't mind the ponytail though, except in certain scenes where it moves funny....makes me stare at it...

So I just finished this "legendary" rpg. The question that remains is, how will I forget it again, and who'll give me those 25 hours of my life back?

I just think Geralt looks much more smexier with his hair down.Posted Image

And the ponytail clips through his armor. A lot.

And during firstfights the ponytail is usually the first thing your opponent grabs.

*faints*

EA have nothing to do with "allowing" the KotOR name to be used. LucasArts own, and have complete control over, all the Star Wars franchises.

Baldur's Gate had MP why not a modern rpg.

Been wondering the same thing, pal. Especialy in Mass Effect that would be super... Well if the other player could take part in convos that is! Would be really boring otherwise.

In fact i like Geralt ponytail alot in TW2.

It's practical. I mean, if you had long hair like that, you'd put it on ponytail too so it wouldn't get in the way.

Geralt ties his hair up in the books before combat I have been told.

That he does. There should have been an option to let his hair down.

I like his ponytail, think he looks even better than the first game imho. I think most people are just not used to change like that. Maybe in the future they'll release a Witcher game where you get a barbershop in each town to change his hairstyle?

Indeed. I'd also like a game that isn't based off of Geralt(not that I don't like him. Blood of Elves made me even MORE of a Geralt fangirl). I want a game that features party-based tactical combat, fully customizable PC(male or female), and companions. It would be so awesome.

this! ^

Mmmhmm.    Wouldn't mind having the option to play as a Scoia'tael either!

I am secretly wishing the updated toolset is bundled in the next patch.   And when they open the forums a modding section will just so happen to be there. Hey, a girl can dream....

Doubt it's going to happen, though they did release a toolset for the first game, if I recall. They do intend to sell us narrative-driven DLC.

Furthermore, I finished the game last night (sided with Roche, killed Henselt, handed Anais over to the Temerians, etc.) and I can say that it is one of the best games I have ever played. Roche was an excellent sidekick, and the choices (even there were only a handful of them) were great and developed into excellent reactive events later in the game.

Just wanted to say that CDPR has stated that all DLC will be free (excluding full expansion packs).

And I agree that Roche ended up being a pretty great character.

Roche was a true bro, especially towards the end, where he views Geralt more as a friend than a simple prisoner he needed to keep under control. I recall Roche patting Geralt on the shoulder shortly after Geralt killed the dragon...

I daresay he's more of a bro than Garrus ever was.

After my bro Foltest getting butchered, it's pretty hard not to join with the other bro, Vernon.

There's no way I'll ever be able to join the Scoia'tael, even less than in TW1. After all the mess Geralt went through to save Temeria in TW1, there's just no way to let it go to waste.

SPOILERS

Before entering the tower.

You can hack at the dragon's head when it breaths flame into the corridor.

Girl is smart. Points out that game is hard and that, basically, if you're nub then prepare to be punished. Something that a lot of whiners, including that clown DSPgamer absolutely missed.

Fun talk and boobies and a well deserved 5/5. Bazing!

The control is gawdawful. Hell, it's unplayable. I hope it's not meant to be this way, rather than a bug or a decision overlook. Anyhow a patch is coming up later today, let's see if this is one of the problems they will fix. If not, then as much as I'm hooked into the story, I'm gonna have to put it aside. This issue alone makes TW2 a broken game. And I wouldn't call DA2 a broken game.

DA2 isn't broken? How about the Isabela/Sebastian bug. That's game-breaking. Without the save game editor and a mod I wouldn't be able to finish DA2 at all.

Never downloaded Patch 1.02???

I'm sure there is going to be a patch for TW2. With some awesome FREE dlc.

She's in a house, one of the ones you have to go up stairs to get to the door.

Facing the entrance to the Inn, if you look to the left there's a nearby set of stairs that leads up to a room. Ves and the other Blue Stripes are in there.

Open up your meditation menu and you'll see options to open the Meditate, Character, Alchemy, or Drink Potions. It's something that I totally forgot was in TW1 as well, got too used to the whole "chug n' run" type of potions in most RPGs.

Heheh. I meant where can you drink a potion during the very last battle? Because that's what one of those guys said they did. I couldn't find anywhere to meditate. (There are 2 more boss fights like this too, so far as I can tell.)

I thought the last battle was visually amazing, but if you can't use alchemy, then that's really odd. (So I assumed I was missing something. However, there wasn't anyone using alchemy in the last battle on youtube last night, anyway.)
