Oh look a "Where's Triss Merigold" save...must be my Act 2 save during the Kaedwin Camp infiltration...nope it's me standing in the middle of the forest during Act 1 looking for Cedric's bleeding husk.
Although I liked Cedric...poor bastard.

but as you can see there are many versions of the game and we had to
test each very carefully.
As for today, we've created stand-alone patch and DLC downloads. This
is mainly due to the fact that game launcher in version 1.0 is not yet
stable enough. Plus the server infrastructure provided by an external
company is not quite bullet proof. But with the stand-alone downloads,
we hope you will be able to enjoy the much improved version of the game
and even better, now it's DRM free!
Also since our forum is still not live and user registration is not
working properly, please don't bother registering the game on the
website yet.
So what's next? First we have setup our own team to improve the
server structure and repair the above mentioned game registration. A
team is also working to finalize our new forum. We will launch these
services very soon. For sure, you will be informed as soon as they are
ready here.
Then, by the end of next week you can expect some more free stuff
available online. Stay tuned, especially for our online conference
scheduled for the 2nd of June. Exciting new announcements are coming!"
Last part sounds nice.

If you pulse your amulet you can follow the trail more easily. I was pretty puzzled first of all, I misheard what Geralt said when you first investigate the dead body.Bryy_Miller wrote...

It's simply awesome.Sometime it's so well done it's feel like an open world.
That something i always though bioware sucked at.Feel a bit like server cluster for mmorpg . Okay at this point i have no idea what i`m talking about.I`m into the unknown .
But mmo use a tech really similiar to this but well not for the same thing. Each zone can crash but each zone = linked.
If a zone crashed you could see it but you could not enter it because it's would not 'load' ..
Any expert here?? Someone need to send me input in private.
it's like entering some kind of stasis mode while you open the 'door' .. Or crap .. Forget it
'take his book'
and yes i`m in awe right now..
Bioware .. call cdprojeck.

I personally love having a billion saves with no real explanation of what part of the game they are in save for what Quest I had active at the time.

I found that it helped to go into the journal and always double click on the quest you're actively doing before you save to help identify the saves later.
But it works two ways, if you don't want your hand held during a quest you can go into the journal and double click on another save so it'll show the marker for that quest and not the one you're actively doing. Then you can find stuff on your own. But I always switched it back if I was trying to make a marker save for later.

Use the cat potion, or whichever one lets you see in the dark, the trail glows. BUT they have like 2 or 3 false trails of blood that branch off and lead to other people or animals, I actually thought they did it pretty well.

Ok. You want me start listing all the stupid stunts EAware has pulled now or what? Should I start with the Lizard pulling a cart in England? Paying for for classy shades for Thane? Paying for just about everything CD red would give away for free?

Speaking of Act 1 geography, was anyone else surprised about how freaking close Iorveth's hideout was to Flotsam. I mean Roche's freaking boat is further away.

Even on my about 20 months old lappy.......loading times are almost gone after installing the patch. LUFF!
If ONLY Fable III were half as stable. (It keeps crashing for no apparent reason)
That's a shame I was thinking about getting it eventually. Anywhere near as good as the original? Second one imo blows.
Question about the Ultimate Swordsman suit. Is it an actual piece of armor I read on some forums it's a "suite" just a bunch of items and not armor.
You should hear Angry Joe's reasons on why Fable III sucks horse ****.

I am wondering as a swordsmen build what is the easiest way to take out multiple enemies I find myself getting owned lol any ideas from the people who have finished this game? Thank you so much
I went mostly sword, but honestly the thing that complements it best is the quen sign. Once you upgrade that sign and upgrade it's ability to return damage to multiple foes you get a bit overpowered actually.

If it improves it enough, maybe I'll bump up the resolution so my game doesn't look like old school Doom on DOS.

Take points in Whirl in order to attack multiple opponents with regular attacks. Put points in Riposte/Position/Guard if you don't plan on going into the Magic tree. Riposte requires more skill than simply having lvl 3 Quen on but it is fun to do and very rewarding on most enemies.
Note that Swordmanship produces Adrenaline fast, so it is important to get the final skill and unlock group finishers fast in order to supplement your combat. Taking out enemies with your Finishers will be your bread and butter.
Mutate into Crit or Power. Offspec into Alchemy for boosts to your stats, offspec into magic in order to become more of a Tank like character.
Personally I prefer a Magic/Sword with the Magic having primary points and pushing Sword for group finishers.

Also are there relationships in this game?
Not in the way you might be used to with DA and ME (long-term sort of romances). I guess Triss could be considered Geralt's love interest, but you're open to romancing a number of women throughout the game.

Sword/Magic is the safest. Ignore anything that says Vigor Regen. Make sure you get the talents that increase your overall vigor...although I find Enhanced Aard more helpful than Destructive Magic so I usually skip that vigor boost. Make sure that you ALWAYS unlock abilities that have Mutagen Slots.
Yeah you may not plan on blocking arrows, but that Muta slot is more important than any of the starting abilities of any path.

Having 6 vigor bars was nice, also putting down multiple Yrdens.

Hold up, Slim. I don't understand your rage here. All Dave said was the the DLC is coming. So... I don't see how that is a jab at TW2.
