EDIT: No worries it was a few pages back, But still, I'm playing TW1 and it is great not having my hand held throughout the game. I really enjoyed DA:O but I enjoy this more. It feels like I'm back in BG1 days, having to read my journal and work out where to go and things to do for myself.

I'd prefer they saved stuff like this for the sequel where it can be tied in with the main plot. I was impressed with how they tied in the Wild Hunt/Yennefer plots into W2's arc and think they're better served as part of the main game than segregated into DLCs.Nigawatts wrote...
I don't know about you guys, but I would prefer CDP made DLC like they did for TW1. Side stories that didn't tie to the main plot of the game, but added depth to the setting, and too inspiration from the source material.
The one DLC I would LOVE to see is Geralt's hunt for Yennefer. Could you imagine fighting the Slizard that almost killed Letho? Or the showdown with the King of the Wild Hunt at the Hanged Man Tree?
Be glad that you don't have a crossfire setup brock, the hotfix boosted my performance greatly yet lights shining through solid objects (introduced by said hotfix) are most distracting. Same thing happening with W1 with my previous nVidia setup, so my second playthrough is on hold until AMD sort it out... could be a long wait.Brockololly wrote...
Yeah, I'm slow as molasses and still playing Act 1 on my first run, but after not playing it the past couple days and getting the new AMD drivers plus the patch, performance is greatly improved and combat feels much more responsive (1GB 5770).

i confirm that the new patch improves framerate. Highly recommended..
Ain't that the truth, I went from 40 fps to 70. Heck I may even turn Uber on just to watch the FR drop to 20.

First week sales (rough estimate and do not think includes digital sales from such places as steam, gog and dnd). Done very well and as weeks progress that number will keep shooting up, ME2 for example Biowares (maybe best) selling game on same format as TW2 only sold 45k in first and 168k over 10 weeks (again might not included digital sales), while TW2 PC only sales obviously have in first week passed 212k minus digital sales not taken into account. Now considering they are trying to also bring it out on consoles next then those sales figures I expect will sky rocket. DA2 on PC only reached around 143k on first week so again TW2 has done better than both Bioware titles for first week sales on the platform TW2 was released on aka PC versions of all three titles mentioned.

Oh man it does. Playing at 1920x1200 with everything up except Ubersampling and getting 25-30 fps and inside a cave it goes even higher. This is on a single 5770. I'm fine with the framerate since I get to walk through Flotsam now.
@Dragoonlordz Wow nice numbers. I'm assuming it sold more on digital copies because of no DRM on gog. Still good number considering it's a niche game on a PC.

It is really good.As far as the Escapist well I trust them as much as movie reviewers.Which is none.I am on my third run through it and I am still caught up in the game.DAO is still my modern day favorite,TW 2 is close. It is really fun.BG 1 was a blast.Still miss my MMs.They were so slow when it first came out.It was cool.

The Escapist review is lazy, but at least it isn't the outright trolling of Destructoid.

I suggest you should read the books. The wild hunt are elves which fled from the witchers world to another one where they killed all humans they could find. And they wanted to catch Ciri cos of her blood. so the abduction of Yen and Geralt was revenge i think

How bout the children? What's your take on the Wild Hunt's actions on them?
