Elder Blood Boots, Elder Blood Trousers, Elder Blood Gauntlets, Vran Armor, Addan Deith

All the Elder Blood recipes found while doing the Gargoyle contract, Addan Deith is in the sewers (which is very small, so you shouldn't miss it) with the armor what can be upgraded to Vran Armor.

It's not just the combat- everything gameplay wise is clunky and tedious.

How is it clunky exactly or tedious?

To be fair, the inventory is.

Whoever thinks that Quen is overpowered has never defeated the Operator and his minions in Hard difficulty! OUCH! Toughest boss in the game indeed! I can't imagine doing it in Insane! Too much to loose... too little to gain... perhaps for the respec only ... thoughts anyone?

I grew tired of the reloadinjg and the dialogue skipping after a few tries, does he drop anything good at all to worth the trouble?

Well, apparently we can craft this right away, early in Act 3, with his loot, instead of getting it later near end game.

ZERRIKANTERMENT
DAMAGE [44-45]-[49-50]
RARE
Silver Sword
Bleeding +35%
WEIGHT 5
Damage bonus on Signs +10
Chance of instant kill +1%
Adrenaline generation on hitting foe +1
Damage dealt to gargoyles +4%
Damage dealt to wraiths +4%
Damage dealt to large monsters +4%
Damage dealt to necrophages +4%
Damage dealt to insectoids +4%
Sockets: 2
Available in: Initial Release

I have yet to beat him.  Impossible at level 30 with Dreug's armor. Reloaded right before going in and found Ysgith Armor... seems a better chance now... but the real problem is the "casting signs bug".. I can deal with it but it is annoying. I try to cast quen or whatever and Geralt just stands there motionless. I keep pressing the cast sign and it only works after some 5-10 secs... grrrr .. almost a certain death when it happens in that place!

I beat him with pretty poor gear on hard. The trick is to not fight the operator and trick him into killing the gargoyles while hiding behind the pillars. If a gargoyle is between you and him, his attack hits the gargoyle and does quite a bit of damage. The pillars will shield you from his attacks and prevent the gargoyles from charging you. If you get cornered back there you are will die though. Took about five tries, but once I figured it out it wasn't bad.

Inventory yea and looting. But what else is? "everything gameplay wise" is a broad statement.

When is it possible to get the diagram for ZERRIKANTERMENT? My previous playthrough was on Iorveth path I was told I wouldn't be able to.

I know this is off topic, but is there way to store the items in a storage?

@Ringo

A lot of RPG fans are miffed about the high level of reflex based gameplay. TW1 didn't have that. Once you figured out the basics of alchemy, it was easy on any difficulty level.

A lot of RPG fans should shut up about a game being **** just because they suck at the combat because it's not their type.

That's just my 2c.

@Addai67
Everything DA2 is crap and garbage.. And stop trolling already.. Even DA2 is garbage to me there are people who enjoy it and I RESPECT that. You have to come to understand that NO game will satisfy EVERYONE. I'm very pleased with TW2 and i also understand a GAME is not MADE FOR MYSELF but for EVERYONE.

IF DA3 turns out everyone LOVES it but i HATE it i won't whine about it to make CDPR change the game to the game i want to play.

/rant off

Don't suppose anyone could help me out here.

The 1.1 Patch isn't installing. I'm getting an error relating to the game's launcher. I'm on Windows 7 and i'm using the International Patch, which I think is the one US people use if they bought it on a disc. If i'm wrong or stupid feel free to correct me.

Just bought it and i've reached the start of act 1. My first impression are basicaly 2, graphically appealing even with a rig that is far from being top notch and control/combat system unresponsive and imprecise, very infuriating atm

@Giubba1985
Do you meet the recommended system requirement? Even i met the recommended system requirement the game is very unresponsive to me too. Others with better rig/system have no problem with that. And welcome in joining the game. I'm currently upgrading my rig too so i can play the game smooth :)

Mage Trader in Act 3 but the other sword is better!

And some people are just too biased. If TW2 had a Bioware logo on the box it would be GOD. But it would also have EA logo so it would be EVIL!  Gladly, CDPR are neither!

Review I'm going on.

Think I'll be picking this game up after my current DAO playthrough (or my next DA2 playthrough, DLC news dependant). Is there anybody here who didn't think the first game had much replay value who thinks the second one has more? I liked the first one while it lasted but my second playthrough petered out in the outskirts of Vizima and I haven't really wanted to pick it up since. Not really a deal-breaker either way, I'll still be buying it, just curious.

It certainly looks fantastic. For a fantasy game I agree with you. For overall games I might have to disagree (i.e. Battlefield 3 looks life like in their graphics).

If he "worshipped" daII then perhaps. It's still possible to like these games. ^_^
