Yes, you can! That's the beauty of it. Knowing that death really has a meaning now, you force yourself to improve in every aspect, including doing whatever it takes to survive. Using all weapons you have, avoiding being gang raped, praying that you won't get incinerated by that thing, studying what works best against what, potions, enhancements.

I'm really getting the best out of the game now. Of course I may get get if I die but the thought is not even near to cross my mind. I'll try the best I can to stay alive through the whole thing and it is possible to be done! Yes, we can! ~=0

Heh, i like how you put it that way. Survival of the fittest then! *shouts battlecry and double-clicks the TW2 desktop icon*

Agree. It does not get easier. But we get more experienced. And yes, I wasn't prepared. Insane is not the place to refuse using bonus items because of their looks like that crazy mage pants or the hooded Blue Strips armor! They are life savers! =)

I personally like the Blue Stripes armor...but Raven's Armor is better against say the Kayran lol. ( if you fully upgrade that is ).

The armor you get from Lordero's mansions or somewhere else is def the best for the Kayran however.

I'd say it's a meteor of some sort. That would explain the abundance of meteorite in merchant's shops.

Asteroid: A relatively small, inactive body, composed of rock, carbon or metal, which is orbiting the Sun.
Comet: A relatively small, sometimes active object, which is composed of dirt and ices. Comets are characterised by dust and gas tails when in proximity to the Sun. Far from the Sun it is difficult to distinguish an asteroid from a comet.
Meteoroid: A small particle from an asteroid or comet orbiting he Sun.
Meteor: A meteoroid that is observed as it burns up in the Earth's atmosphere - a shooting star.
Meteorite: A meteoroid that survives its passage through the Earth's atmosphere and impacts the Earth's surface.

Oh my gosh...

This game is beautiful...the scenery here just does not relent. Beauty upon beauty...

I am in Act 2, Henselt's camp and environs.

How did CDprojekt dream all this up?

I don't know if DA and their stylized art direction can ever measure up...

Don't get me started on the music...Kai!!

Just played 'Claws of Madness' quest a different way. Wow. They aren't kidding about the non-linear bit.

Haha I am at my 4th and I want to do 6-10 so that I have various setups for TW3 :) There are so many choices to make, so I have no other option but play it many many times to cover all cases.

"Reviews keep coming out for CD Projekt RED's The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, and the title keeps earning glowing scores and praise from the large majority of publications."

"The Edmonton Sun goes scoreless

There's no entertainment genre as simultaneously celebrated and maligned as hardcore fantasy. Sure, The Lord of the Rings won piles of Oscars and Game of Thrones is TV's latest must-watch drama, yet confessing a love for elves and dwarves still tends to pigeonhole fans as some flavour of nerd.

And if it's a fantasy video game that we're talking about - if those elves and dwarves and wizards and warriors are cavorting on your computer monitor instead of your TV screen - it's as though there's an extra level of illogical, sniggering stigma.

But you know what? Plow stigma. Ditch your preconceptions, open your mind and accept that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings isn't just a good video game, it's as solid a piece of fantasy entertainment - or maybe just entertainment, period - as you're likely to experience this year."

Edmonton... isn't it the city of...

Wow .. first full run with my Knightly I-am-a-mutant-but-human-too Geralt was fun and all, a very knightly experience but this second run, with a I-am-a-freakin-mutant-plow-the-humans Geralt promises to be even more fun.

I would have tried my luck if I weren't on an Insane run and hadn't read this at GoG's forum:

i bet there was some guy who loaded insane mode and then picked the option to fight roche.

I'm Insane but I ain't Crazy! :o
