****ing hot damn.
Seriously, Ioverth strikes me as a perfect companion for Geralt. Sarcastic, crude humor, strong values. And the end scene where the three walk out, really epic stuff.
Radovid sure changed from what I remembered him in TW1 and for the better, Eilhart's torture made me cringe a little, but still pretty damn good.
Now starting another playthrough with Roche this time, can't wait. And btw, do I have to put my saves into a seperate folder again to start a new playthrough? Or does the game automatically do it?

I'd recommended copying your finished playthroughs somewhere else....it can get messy in there.

Yeah like I did with TW1, I'll do that, but damn that's alot of saves I made, is it wise to delete saves from say errr Act 1??

you'd think they would have put in a save overwright system already, without the use of mods

Question: why do both Geralt and Triss have American accents?
Makes them stand out I suppose.

I guess that depends on whether or not you ever plan on going back to them.
(stuff like the save before the choice between Iorveth and Roche seems quite important, esp. if you don't intend to do anything different in your game prior to that point)
I just moved the entire save folder of my first playthrough and put it somewhere else (it was around 3.2 GB
I really hope that they'd put in something that'll allow you to manage your saves, or sort them by playthrough.

Triss is from Maribor, which means she is a Temerian Native...so I have no idea why she sounds different from Roche or Foltest. Must be just the crappy VA.

Setting Wise, Geralt is supposed to have a Rivian accent. So I guess you could assume that people from Rivia have American accents, in the English speaking version... Note he isn't from Rivia, if Geralt was from anywhere it would be Kaedwen, but he took up the Rivian accent to make his surname sound more believable.

Or she could just be hanging around Geralt a bit too much, lol.
As for Triss being from Maribor, multiple accents can exist in a country, the United States for example.

Yeah that could be it, but because the VA for Triss makes the simplest line of dialogue sound so sluggish and lazy, I am just going to assume my original guess is correct.

Doug C*ckle does a pretty good job, but Triss's English vo is pretty bad. Just my 2 cents on this.

If it were up to me, Geralt's and Triss' English vo's would have Polish accents. I wonder why they didn't do this. As an American, I see The Witcher like a foreign film; I don't need it to conform so I can identify with the leads.

I'm rather fond of Geralt's VA, it has a dry sarcasm to it which matches the character of Geralt perfectly. Triss is fine imo except for a select few moments.

Some of the dwarves in the game, the VA is great.

I like the earlier Iorweth and Kingslayer voice. Much better. Wondering why they changed that
I prefer the ones in TW2 to those of the trailer. The VA for Iorveth is awesome imho. The new one for Letho suits the character better than the one in the trailer.

If this is the same VA (I think so, since some of the work listed matches the ones on IMDB), then maybe it's the one directing the VA 'at fault' (I personally liked Triss' voice/accent. IMHO, it's a nice contrast to her current look which is more 'rugged' than in the first game):

Agreed. I thought his VA was good, and what I do like (which was not present in TW1), is that there are scenes where Geralt does express emotion, but without saying a word (especially the endign cutscene). Ultimately, I think that's how Geralt is.
And I like Letho's in-game voice. And accent. It's suits him very well I think.
