New mod: inventory tweaks. Includes filters and a misc catagory. Looks pretty good, I'm giving it a try.

Works great.  This is definitely a must have mod for inventory management.

That looks like a good improvement, nice that someone took the effort to make it better.

It's just what we needed. :wizard:

The author's name is Antihero over at GoG, and I'm doing a shameless plug for him here because I've found his mods to be the most useful so far. These modders deserve our gratitude for doing stuff for free and getting it out there so quick.

You're right, the pacing was terrific. It was a good game with attention to detail. Pretty good writing. Once I got the roll down I enjoyed combat

It is and think of it this way...you replay with a totally different Chapter 2 and you get almost a whole new game.  Which makes it a 90 hour game if you replay it twice for different sides.

And may I do a squee?  I KILLED THE KAYRAN!!! WOOT!!! Man that felt epic. Took me three tries (cussing at my scresn) but I did it!!! I fetl so bad ass....riding the <spoiler> and the kill shot? OH yeah.

And I am so sorry BioWare, really I am, but it made me feel so much more epic than killing the Arishok, or the Rock Wraith, or the bosses at the end. I'm not trying to be mean, but it was really a bad ass fight. There, I said it. :crying:

Not just that; there are no "bad guys". There are adversaries, sure; there is people with very questionable methods (allies included), but there are no baddies. Even the monsters are just that, monsters: it´s like blaming a tiger for hunting.

The final segment of the game with Letho is simply outstanding. For many the end lacks a lot but to me it smells like "I´m going south, guys". :P

Oh yeah, that is part of what I love. No one is good or bad, they just are, like real people. And monsters are monsters who do that monstery thang they do. Hell the Kayran was <spoiler> and <spoiler> which is why it was bothering people when it used to hide out. I felt sorry for it.

And just for the recorde I wasn't bragging to brag I killed it. You have to understand, I am a total ****** when it comes to battles. I don't play games with strategic fights usually. I know you guys are all real bad ass players, but me...well, no. So I was so amazed that I managed in three tries. I figured I would be there a lot longer than that.

And most if not all human conquest were made through revolution. Their goals are just fair!

Revolution? You call wanting to kill every last human "revolution"? You call torching countless villages, mudering women and children revolution?

The game may not touch these points as finely as it should, but the novels do

I wouldnt act much different if my kind was being treated like such in turn. Or are the remaining elves treated nicely?

I would be ashamed to say how many attempts it took me even with the trap and Sile... Nice armour makes it worth it, though...

Hey guys i'm pretty happy here! I'm using an old CPU C2D E6600 OCed @ 3.20GHz. Now with Patch 1.2 i can run the game ULTRA settings smooth! at 1680x1050 with Ubersampling and VSYNC off.

Oh i'm using MSI GeForce GTX560Ti Twin Frozr II by the way. The game is freaking smooth and BEAUTIFUL!!.

Oh yeah.. replayed the Prologue (abandoned earlier flotsam saves) and surprisingly it's SEEMS much easier than before? I'm playing normal by the way.

That's because you:

1. know how to do the combat
2. the prologue was nerfed

Indeed. Not being able to list things in alphabetical order bothers me more than it should. :P

I beat the game.

I saved Triss MeriHold over Roche thing. Because shes hot and hes a dude. And plus shes my girl.

I killed Leno, because he made me chase him all that way and i was going do something

I let the mage blow herself up, because she tried kill me and i pity the fool that does that.

Woot!, great game for shame bioware, that his blows DA2 down. For shame.

On my second playthrough now, doing some things differently deliberately (Iorvath path this time), but I love how the game responds to your choices, even on the smallest quests.

And I'm 10x better at combat now, and I did the Kayran first attempt (Normal), but if you let your gard down for a second, you still get killed so easily.
And I love that.

First she tells you where Yennefer is so that's a plus and Letho says every moment she is a live the pain will get worse and worse.

I bet some of you are past the harpy quest. please share the experience. how do you end the quest? How many traps are necessary? Or are they? Where do I put them?

Just mark the quest as active it will tell you how many nests are destroyed. You should get 4 destroyed near the pit and the other three later when you get inside the lair.
