*Spoiler*
what do you guys think of the dragon fight? Not sure I like it. Not as well as the other boss fights.
For a final boss fight, it was sure welcomingly difficult, but it was also rather weak. It felt like filler.
It was ambitious, but I feel they got greedy. It happens to be one of my pet peeves about fantasy: A guy with a sword does not match up to a firebreathing creature that moves like a cat and is the size of a school bus.
All the same, I liked the plot twists right up to the end. Great story.

I wonder when Yahtzee will beef up his PC to touch this game.
He'll probably just wait for the X-Box version though.

Your'e definitely down with them, especially after the attempted river crossing. I got rid of the tat asap though

All my TW2, at least the ones I'll really get into, will again be with the Squirrels! And thanks for not spoiling
Saskia
And one MAJOR plot hole and flaw of the game. In one cutscene, elven arrows are rainning down and MISSING THE TARGET??????
Lasta lalaithamin, est eionivan ei tie Myotha!!! - We never miss!!!

The bold bit is a part I really liked about how they did the dragon: they gave it an feline grace rather than the lumbering monster or reptillian you usually get, and made it not only more threatening but more unique as a creature instead (never was keen on the dragon=reptile thing, seemed too lazy to me).

Never got the tattoo in my first playthrough, missed the quest.
Have it now, and carried it into Act 2... Any way to get rid of it if you carry it over into Act 2?
(I don't mind it that much, it's rather funny... but sometimes I get the feeling some guards don't take me seriously

I dunno 'bout ACt 2, I had Triss remove mine in Act 1. I dunno if you can remove it in Act 2 but if you could try asking the merchants who specialize in herbs and whatnot and/or mages.

Final? What are you talking about?? I've just finished it again and I'm very depressed right now because I wanted MOAR! ... Well, still plenty different ending to check out although I tend to be faithful to my choices and yet another insane run ahead, this time without any mods that change weight/oil system. Only the looks! And always with the Elves from now on! Hmm.. perhaps a few more runs with Roche in the future too. Damn addictive game!
Although I am really disappointed because my Geralt certainly wanted to plow Saesenthessis! Hmm.. I think I'll finish my current TW1 run (halted on Act 3 - Vizima) after I next complete TW2. To change a few things in my import without needing other people's saves! =)

due to work.. not much time to play but darn.. the game is sure beautiful. i mean the forest. i'm still earlier in the game. still in flotsam.
i mostly avoid this thread as there's too many spoilers around. i have a question though.. regarding endreaga contract.. if you complete this quest won't it suxs that you can't craft conflagaration(sp?) trap anymore since you need endreaga embryo or something..
the game is real easy on normal.. i have no idea what people are smoking about the difficulty? craft a stun trap.. lure them in then once they got stunned throw in couple of bombs and jump in with some awesomeness!
woot this game is easy and fun at least with traps, bombs, signs and swordsplay

No, you won't have a problem with embryos. Unless changed in the drop table of patch 1.2, endregas will drop them as well. Not only the cocoon.

Kinda strange i ran the game at 1920x1200 with everything maxed besides Uber AA [i turned standard AA manually in card instead of this overkill UberAA] i had ~40-50 FPS throughout the game, all besides this maxxed and i have... HD6850 OC

I have Geforce GTX560Ti. it's supposed to be a better card than ATI6850 right? Maybe ATI card is better then.
@RageGT
What i mean.. if we burnt or kill the Endreaga queen.. There won't be anymore Endreaga spawned right?

If i'm not mistaken, Sile, Dethmold, and Phillipa in Act 2 can all remove it

I've tried to play TW1 several times ... just can't get past the combat and abstruseness of it all!
TW2 is the first game I've replayed in a really long time (a decade, probably), so that's a testament to its goodness.
I'm not really a replay kind of guy, though, unless it's an arcader or something similar. TW2 had enough story differences in each playthrough that I enjoyed myself, regardless. Still, I think it's time I moved onto something else until more DLC comes out.
Like I said, I'll dig it out right before TW3 comes out, download all the extra DLC, and have a blast on a last runthrough.
I finally got around to playing Alpha Protocol. It's a really decent game once you get past the prologue. It's the first shooter/tactical game I've actually enjoyed. It plays like Thief meets Rainbow 6.

The one in TW2 and not 1 right?
And yea the VA for Roche did a great job I think. It's going to be painful siding with Iorveth this time around.
