Yahtzee didn't know he could skip cut-scenes with right-click. Yeah they really need to dumb this game down some more. I need a cut-scene skipping tutorial.

Anyone else been listening to the Soundtrack. Don't know why I didn't realize till now that this game has one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard. One song I'm looking for that I can't find though. The one that plays when you are in the Eternal Battle.

The review was hilarious! I'm quite sure he was very pissed at this game. It's been a while since he bashed a game with such passion. But what can we do? It's Yahtzee xD

But that doesn't change the fact that it is a great RPG.

No you'll still get endreaga to kill and they will drop embryos, mutagens, and other crafting items you need. Just go into the woods to do your "shopping." Drowners, nekkers, endreaga all still spawn so you can kill for ingredients.

Yep.

It's a funny review, but everyone knows that Zero Punctuation is for entertainment. He is not a serious professional reviewer. In otherwords, I wouldn't take it seriously.

I agree that some more detal in tutorials would be nice. But other than that, don't dumb it down. If people can't manage on normal or easy in order to enjoy the story, they should just get another game.

Lol it wasnt that bad. His complain about not so user friendly tutorial is pretty valid for those that require someone to hold their hand. Sure. He is wrong about many things tho (not blocking, "unskippable" cut scenes, not dodging the right way ..)

Not to sounds elitist or anything (I play on PS3 as well), but consoles and dumbed down games have made a lot of people lazy and ignorant.

I lost my respect for him. He always made fair points on games, harsh but fair. Here it just seems to me he was just reading the review from escapist with a few more harsh words added.

Y'know ... I enjoyed struggling to understand stuff like the inventory/mutagen system. Frankly, I ended up googling some directions. Reminded me of the 90s, when very few things made sense in a game. Was I the only one that enjoyed that sense of confusion?

Just watched it, was a funny review. Obviously he played in pre-patch 1.2 but hey what can you do.

The only real gripe he had other than gameplay and tutorial was unable to skip cutscenes. I'm pretty sure cutscene skipping (epecially the one before the Kayran) was alrdy implemented before any patches game out... you right-click.

Anyways funny review, considering how he revied The Witcher 1, I'm not surprised how he reviewd The Witcher 2.

'Sides we all know this is a kickass RPG anyway, amirite?

Hmph I couldn't skip the Kayran cutscene even with right clicking. Icon came up but nothing happened. Which was annoying as it took me quite a few tries to do that battle.

Re: VAs, Alec Newman (Sebastian/Bran) is Tailles and quite a few smallish parts and Nico Lennon (Carver) is Radovid. It's like some sort of fantasy game VA club.
