From my experience games that have naked people within the first 15 minutes tend to be a bad sign of the quality of the overall product.
Or it just shows that the developers hold women in very low light.

Well forgive me for seeing women as people and not as objects for you to pleasure yourself with.

Triss is far from being a meek, opressed woman who needs rescuing. Contrary to the common Witcher bashing myth, no, CD Projekt does not hate women.Or it just shows that the developers hold women in very low light.
You should meet this certain gal on these forums, The Angry One was her name I think.
She likes to throw the word "misogynyst" around a lot.

So... I was wondering about the HW requirements. I am currently stuck with my trusty laptop (which plays Crysis and ArmA2 just fine), so eh... the usual hated question... will it run at least on low settings? I am not exactly a computer savvy person so please bear with me.
Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit
Intel Core i5 M 430 2.27 2x GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M
4 Gigs of RAM
I just want to know if it's worth pre-ordering then. I don't want to end up with a game I can't run.
Suuure, I could try to buy/build meself a better PC, but my funds are kinda slim right now, with the studies.
So eh...
Sorry for my impatience, I am thinking wheter to hit the purchase button on Steam or not.

Two Worlds 2 has full body nudity, and nobody ever made a fuzz about that.

Why are you here? Clearly from what you played of Witcher 1 you know nothing of the game. Women in the Witcher world are not equal. THey are not males. Correct me if im wrong but in Middle Ages where woman treated equally? Dragon Age apparently has a eutopia where male/female are equal which is nice but doesn't help iwth the atmosphere.
Clearly your not mature enough to see that nudity can be used to help with story telling or add to it. Other wise there wouldn't be sex scenes in Bioware games. It adds to the game. You may see it as demoralizing but not everyone else.

I am just poking fun at the common argument of some really straw feminists calling Witcher developers misogynyst and whoever disagrees is an arrogant wannabe-alpha male and such.

Geralt is infertile. Some woman find him exotic and are turned on by him according to his description in books.
That being said, there are no women who jump on his dick on the first sight, and wanting that to happen is completely optional and requires some effort too(bringing the flowers, doing the pricess' bidding etc.).

I have a concern. So far two previewers have mentioned how long and linear the first 10 hrs are. Really?
The prologue in TW1 took a while, maybe an hour or so, but immediately afterwards it opened up big time. Once you reached the outskirts, you were completely free and even lost if you didn't rely on the journal. I really liked this approach.
If each time I replay TW2, I am forced to trudge through the same opening for 10 hrs, this will likely dampen replay value for me...a lot. 10 hrs is a long time to go on the rails. I didn't expect this from CD red; I expect it from Bioware because their games are more fixed, their level design is more limited.
For me, nonlinear means having the freedom to choose how you go about the storyline, where you can travel in each area, how big it is, etc, not just the fact it happens to have a branching storyline. Anyone else see what I'm saying here?

I realize the card collecting was just put in as a gimmick, but why put it in if A) Geralt in the books is nothing like that, andyou know that a lot of uptight gamers won't be able to look past the gimmick and judge the entire game by it.
Eh, I see that as a gimmick too. In books, Geralt is not really like this(unless the certain person literally throws herself at him, which doesn't usually happen). Heck, I could say he's even a bit prude there.

Plus, I have played threw the game several times (I have stated this on many occassions, people just seem to assume otherwise) so my opinion on the matter is not ficitious.

Well Slim, I think that prologue must be somehow linear, but I assume that from 1 chapter we will be have freedom. I don't know how long prologue will be.
