"And now for the important stuff:
there’s a naked woman in the first two minutes of the game. Absolutely
full-on nudity that in games you would only usually see in crap German
“erotic” titles. Earning your Mature rating there, CD Projekt!'
Well in the internet feminists defence, the way it is worded doesnt show tw2 in the best light imo <-<.

Thanks Damariel.
I have a concern. So far two previewers have mentioned how long and linear the first 10 hrs are. Really?
The
prologue in TW1 took a while, maybe an hour or so, but immediately
afterwards it opened up big time. Once you reached the outskirts, you
were completely free and even lost if you didn't rely on the journal. I
really liked this approach.
If each time I replay TW2, I am
forced to trudge through the same opening for 10 hrs, this will likely
dampen replay value for me...a lot. 10 hrs is a long time to go on the
rails. I didn't expect this from CD red; I expect it from Bioware
because their games are more fixed, their level design is more limited.
For
me, nonlinear means having the freedom to choose how you go about the
storyline, where you can travel in each area, how big it is, etc, not
just the fact it happens to have a branching storyline. Anyone else see
what I'm saying here?
The reviewer had only played few hours not the full 10 hour at the point of writing this,I think.Considering the game has been said to be about 30-40 hours long it would be a little hard to believe that they would railroad the first 25/33% of the game

I realize the card collecting was just put in as a gimmick, but why put it in if A) Geralt in the books is nothing like that, and
you know that a lot of uptight gamers won't be able to look past the gimmick and judge the entire game by it.
Eh,I dont think it was their intention for people to collect the cards(in fact I vaguely recall them saying just that when discussing the cards in an interview).Personally,I just thought of the cards as an inexpensive alternative for a romantic scene. Now,I dont know just how many romantic encounters there is in TW1 as I never had the urge to collect the cards like some people seem to,but I do imagine an actual scene for each and every one of them would have been quite expensive.
As for uptight gamers...Well,for some people you'd think they have around the clock wedgy, gamer or not

Well forgive me for seeing women as people and not as objects for you to pleasure yourself with.
How noble of you. Now stop trolling and go get laid. Looks like you need it.
Already
got it, also showed this thread and the game to a lot of my friends
(women) they are the ones encouraging me to continue since they feel my
concerns are justified.
As noble as your crusade is,I would suggest it might do more good when directed at the 3rd world countries that actually to this day
do suffer from sexual discrimination, rather than at a video game that dared to show a nude woman.
