As long as they don't neglect PC hardware for the sake of consoles I don't care.  DICE is doing it the right way with Battlefield 3 on the PC.  I'll expect the same from The Witcher 3.          

Battlefield 3 is coming out the same time on the consoles and PC. CDProjekt could do the same for future games. Build them up for PC and then optimize it for the consoles.

He wasn't core staff, he was a PR guy. They change every few years. At June's CDProject Red's stockholders meeting it was discussed and no doubts were raised - people like him simply change every few years...

Well, He wasnt "just" a PR guy, as a matter of fact, he was one of the producers of the game, also, and had to coordinate between the different dev teams and deal with budget management.

Im sure (as he stated himself) there was not bad blood in their relationship... He just was dead tired. You know, playing a game is fun, but producing it is not, plus all those flights back and forth between Poland and USA, yeah, no pic-nic.

Maybe - who knows?- theres a chance he can come back to do the PR for Witcher 3... That would be awesome.

That's a bit tricky.

Spoilers ahead, so brace yourselves.

Ciri was able to visit the world inhabited by the elves of the Wild Hunt. Their world is inhabited not only by the elves though - humans are present as well. However, they do not pose a threat - they serve as slaves. When Ciri arrived she was quickly captured and brought to the king Auberon (the one originally destined to marry Lara Dorren). Auberon tried... to conceive a child with her, but he coudn't fight through his... disgust of humans, of how precious blood of Lara made it's way to the world of humans... and possibly because he was simply too old - 650 years old precisely. The child would, of course, possess a power to unite the world, travel between time and space and bloody, bloody, blaa...

Anyway, Auberon was shortly poisoned by Eredin - the leader of the WIld Hunt, though it seems it wasn't intended - ekhem... Eredin was providing his king with some sort of potency stimulant and the old ruler simply overdosed it out of frustration. Ciri escaped and dueled Eredin - she didn't really best him in combat, but was able to use the location of their fight (small bridge) to her advantage and in the end injure him - humiliate him.

IF this plotline happens to be a part of Witcher 3 then this is my guess.

• Ciri's left the world at the end of the books. Eredin is trying to get her back - reasons not fully clear. Use her abilities to invade the world of humans? Revenge? Use someone else to create that super-kid ?
• He apparently knows of Geralt and Yennefer. From Ciri, because well... she has told him. He knows that those two are close to her heart - especially Geralt. Maybe it will make Ciri return ?
• AND finally. The world of the Aen Elle, the elves of Wild Hunt wasn't originally their world. It was a human world - elves were the invaders, who commited genocide of the old population. Ciri's blood has the ability to open Ard Gaeth, the gate between worlds - any world.

Cheers for the lore Luxorek, nice to see what the elves would do with power would be just the same as humans in their position or maybe a little worse. And it looks more and more like Ciri will be mnaking a cameo in part three.

Just read about thq publishing the witcher 2 on xbox in a few countries, must be selling well if a big firm like that is getting interested.

Wouldn't say worse, sounds about the same to me, one world has a race subjugating another (the world where elves rule) and the other has a race pretty much genociding the other (the human-ruled world).  As to Ciri, I hope that we do get to see both Ciri and Yen at some point, it would be such a cop out not to have them appear in the games, and we are given a proper choice over them, not forced to take a certain approach to them, though with the way they did Witcher 2 I don't think we have much to worry about.

According to the Lady of the Lake book, Ciri is currently hanging out with Galahad of Camelot duh. I doubt she'd return.

Also, to anyone wondering what she'd look like, I believethe czech illustrations are kinda close to Mr. Sapkowski's description. You can even see the scar made by Leo.

It's down for me too, and no communication from CDPR at GoG. They really need to work on the professionalism bit, which includes communicating to your customers. The impression the company gives is one of high talent mixed with poor management.

They always play down the scar. From the description it is quite clear is really ugly, despite the man who cured her being rather skillful. In the non-canon tale she wears her hair over her that side of her face to hide it. I think it´s at least like the one the girl from "Rio Lobo" got.

"Soon".  Speculation keeps revolving around 1 or 2 weeks but been hearing that since 1.2 was released.   The official word from twitter (twitter.com/#!/witchergame) is patch 1.3 is still being worked on with no release date.
