@Cyberfrog- I rarely use Axxi myself given the time it takes, but my third run on hard will be a mage build and I'll toy with it then. I like Aard, just as I did in the first game, and timing a combo right with Aard or Ignii does some pretty wicked damage and is a fun way to fight for me.

Loc Muinne just has so much potential though, I still hunger to learn what's in that tower with the big eye sigil upon it.

Teogoff plays it up a bit, and he used zero tactics against Letho...I mean none. Even I wasn't that brazen, but I suppose he's got to keep us entertained, and I agreed with his score.
Letho...

Everybody who have at some time quit a game should watch his fight against Ser Cauthrien in Dragon Age Origins.
Zero tacticts and completely blind, he pulled that through... By sheer force of will.

Sigh...I guess I am just frustrated he get's so many viewers despite the fact: he can be really bad at gameplay, has shallow reasons for his choices and the quality of his videos wasn't/isn't really good.
Given that I also do Let's Plays....well what can I say.

It isn't about skills, but about an entertaining lack of vision (he plays every game blind). Even so, on Hard he beat Draug on his first try (I think). Sounded like he was crapping his pants most of the time, but still.

In between playing the Witcher 1 and now I wiped my HD, but I made external copies of a bunch of stuff I cared about, including my Witcher 1 saved games. The problem is, unlike say, ME2, TW2 isn't asking me where my old saved games are for import (on my desktop atm), instead it just seems to be scanning for them, and not finding them.
So, my question is does anyone know where TW2 looks for TW1 saves, or could you point me in the direction of the official TW2 forums

Checked Crysis 2 with Directx 11 as well - if you can max it out you are in for a treat. Who knows how would have Witcher 2 looked like if the CDPR could implement the new Direct.

"Nilfgaard. Totalitarianism. We wanted people to think of the Third Reich. Empire of evil".
Really? I PRAY that this is just marketing bs. I love TW2 so much because it precisely doesn't have crap like this (and what we see of Nilfgaard in TW2, primarily via Shilard, never gave that impression). I was first worried about the Wild Hunt, but if TW3 is all about villainizing Nilfgaard, I'll be disappointed. More than disappointed, I'll be pissed off.
Please someone (Luxorek!) tell me that Nilfgaard is not actually portrayed / designed to be that way in the books.

I understood Nilfgaard as just another player in the political/power rat race, with their own agenda. classic Witcher morality.

That's how I saw Nilfgaard as well. The continental superpower out for its own interests like everyone else, which seemingly for now is imperialistic in nature.
