Thanks for the link, Vandergrift , great find... :-)

Well, as far as the information goes... S-C-R-E-W Namco Bandai, thats what I say.

You have all these publishing companies trying to squeeze the developers when they see profit, while all these past years they didnt invest a dime in the developement of the game itself...

So they had "preference", though luck, CDP chose another publisher.

Great, the money that can be used to make TW3 even more awesome, is being claimed by cry babies who don't know how to read a contract before signing it or worse, just want to squeeze money for the sake of it.

For those who have some problems understanding Google's translation:

It appears that Namco had a some sort of preemtion clause on publishing rights for XBox version. They claim that CD Projekt ignored that right and choose THQ instead of them. CD Projekt says, that Namco failed to invoke that right, so they were free to choose whomever they wanted.

A suit was filled to a court in Lyon, France in which Namco demands that CD Projekt to fulfil their alleged obligation. Meanwhile they withheld a 1.225.000 euro payment to CD Projekt. CD Projekt crew is confident that they are right.

By the way, blackmailing your past associate, witholding sales profits so you force the other party to do your bidding... yeah, keep it classy, Namco-Bandai...

Apparently the Poles are preeetty confident about this. Lets hope it doesnt become a mess...

What a mess. The only winners, as usual, will be lawyers collecting their fees.

BTW - This source also confirmed that CDPR is working on another IP, due to be released in 2013.

One month passes, just start a new game. Geralt mentions it.

And don't skip the intro.. the nice music with the blue cloudy background and huge letters saying "a month passes" after the assassination attempt against Foltest"... which by the cinematics showing Geralt being paid for his last job in TW1, is right after Jacques is defeated.

Can't we flood their forums, twitters, FB, anything, and tell them to F*** off?

Mmhm... That is totally pointless... unless you happen to know the e-mail addresses of Namco ejecutives...

I'd say hit them were they hurt the most... True Witcher fans should BOICOTT all Namco future games. Period.

You guys think it's necessary to play TW1 before TW2? Is the story connected? Do i need to play the first one to understand the second?

Only reason i say this is because i played the demo of TW1, and the combat was ridiculously monotonous. I really don't see me enjoying the combat of the game. But if it is necessary, i'll just turn the combat down to casual and focus on the story.

Its tricky. There's a ton of lore, some of which won't be fully explained. Does it detract from TW2's overall plot? I didn't think so. It's like watching a foreign film in a way, you know you're not going to catch every reference, but that doesn't make the story unintelligible.

TW2 combat is much better but still needs patching. I'd wait, to be perfectly honest, to see what the next patch brings.

Edit- just found a post at GoG where Flash said he'll be doing a combat rebalance mod for TW2. Excellent news.

Completed both Roche and Iorwerth playthrough. Agree completely with majority that Iorwerth path is the most rewarding. I get to save Vergen and the overall plot and story makes more sense and clearer to my understanding.

It's really wicked to see Philippa being tortured... Her eyes being ripped off.. the voice-over that she did on being tortured completely had me shocked. I have no idea why people complaining about the voice-over but in Witcher 2 the voice-over are FANTASTIC!. Best voice over still Henselt for me.

I kind of felt sorry for her and i actually helped her instead of going for Triss. Is she really evil or portrayed wrongly in the game? As i kind of felt that she's not that bad honestly. She did reveal the dagger that would save Saskia before escaping.

Radovid seems more evil to me this time around. More to a personal revenge towards a Philippa who has guided him since young?

Only thing i don't get it is why a dragon would meddle in human politics?

Is Saskia a dragon who can turn into a human or a human who can turn into a dragon? That's a big difference.

She's a dragon, I think. I just finished playing the first time last night, Geralt tells her she isn't the first dragon he's met. http://witcher.wikia.com/wiki/Saskia

As for a dragon meddling in human politics... well, everybody likes to have a hobby right?

I don't know Witcher lore but can all dragon's change into human? Like in say Warcraft lore were pretty much any dragon can change into a person.

Or can Saskia only become human because she can use polymorphism?

Some can - there's one in Sword of Destiny that can, but some aren't able to and might not even be intelligent.

Dragon from Sword of Destiny was father of Saskia. He was a legendary golden dragon that can change to any form Saskia have only dragon and human forms(she is a mix with normal dragon). normal dragon are inteligent but cant use polymorphy.

Is that actually confirmed? Saskia's shapeshifting abilities are pretty limited as compared to Villentretenmerth. And she isn't a golden dragon.

Obvious Spoilers

She said it in Iorveths Act 3 after you defeated her..but only if you decided to go with Iorveth and not saving Triss.
