I've got a feeling the viper school will be busy becoming assassins for the white flame but if the hunt makes some move on imperial interests I can well see that happening knight, and things do seem to be converging.

Emhyr might also back down on his promise to rebuild the Viper Schools (on the pretext that Letho was only half or not fully succesful in his mission). Wouldn't be the first time he sells out pawns. It might ****** off the Vipers and allow the possibility of an alliance with Geralt.

We'll see, and I can't wait!!

Also, wth happened to the Witchers from TW1? Lempard and the others? I hope they show up in TW3.

Lambert, Eskel and Vezemir. I sure wonder about them too. Even though we only interacted with them briefly, I sure hope we'll see them again.

And Leo........:crying:

I am hoping that TW3 will have a reunion of Wolf and Viper Witchers, probably against the Hunt.

And Lambert, blasphemous typo I know. Thanks ^_^

About Emhyr ... Mr. Mystery I would say.

Yes and especially Berengar, I went to a lot of trouble in the first witcher to save him in the scrap with Azar so i'd like to see him again. I liked that doubtful and alienated demeanour that he had as it was a nice contrast to Geralts sardonic stoicism.

They just departed, went on travel. And they will return before winter kicks out to Kaer Morhen. Thats how Witchers usually roll. Actually in the books it was the same I think. First book of saga starts on Kaer Morhen with Vesemir, Lambert, Eskel, Geralt and Coen + Ciri and later Triss. And after Ciri, Triss and Geralt leave, others are just mentioned but we never see them again. Unless I remember it wrong.

Though I would love to see them again but if W3 will follow Geralt to Nilfgaard, I doubt it :(

Look... I told what I wanted and I stand by it - whether you like it or not. I am going one step further. The attitude here towards DA2 in this thread is disgusting. I wouldn't mind at all if the thread was closed for that.

Good for you.

Now, for the rest of us disgusting folk.
I've been thinking about how Letho could be present in TW3 if applicable.
The viper school is almost specialized in the Wild Hunt, which I believe will be a if not the primary focus of TW3, so I think it's possible, and very desirable, if Geralt gets to team up with the remnants. Perhaps Letho could be present then and team up with Geralt (which would be very epic!). If he's dead, he'd be replaced by another Viper Witcher.

What do you guys think?

Possibly, but I think Emhyr would be loathed to allow such a useful tool to slip from his grasp, particularly if his services prove to be of further use in the coming invasion. I would be interested to see if, Letho's relationship with the Emperor is an alliance for mutual benefit or will it shift to that of master and servant, which I believe is similar to what happened in the first Invasion with the Scoia' tael.

You could save him? The ****** attacked me near the Lady of the Lake part so couldn't be helped with my playthrough. Didn't know could save him. :pinched:

You remember it wrong. Coen dies in the battle of Brenna. And he is in last book.

Well we don't know who will go with Geralt... except Triss and Dandelion of course.

He might also determine that Letho outlived his usefulness or was not fully successful. But I do not know how emhyr thinks in the books, so I know little about his modus operandi, though I am intrigued.

Speaking of Nilfgaard, is there any Shilard love here?

Yeah you can spare him on black tern island Dragoonlordz (tell him it's not your place to judge him) but it's extremely hard to keep him alive during the showdown with Javed where he comes to aid you in taking down the fire mage.

Are the witchers still returning to Kaer Morhen?

Hm. Why does my mind try to tell me they stopped that tradition since the events of TW1?

In any case I think Geralt could use a break before heading for Nilfgaard.

Ah yes, Coen...totally forgot about him. But Geralt didnt get to see him personaly and games are mainly about what Geralt is experiencing, so thats why I dont think we get to see them in W3.

I honestly don't think keeping him alive in the battle against Javed is going to matter.
I prefer Geralt and Letho teaming up.....with the soundtrack The Wild Hunt kicking :o

And I am waiting for the patch and my brother playing the game for the first time, before starting my 3rd playthrough.

@KoP Quite likely, I don't think Emhyr would want some one like Letho running around if he can't be controlled, paticularly considering the damage he caused in the Northern Kingdoms.

We may see the establishment of the viper school if Emhyr belives that they would serve his purpose or affirm his position as Emperor over the North. Nothing like having a group of highly skilled assassins at one's disposal. I am very interested in the coming conflict and whether one's actions, ie: killing Henselt will have wider repercusions

But, I would like to see Letho again, I just couldn't kill him at the end of Act 3, despite what he did.

Lots people talking about possible plots etc for TW3 but tbh more interested atm in what they could do as an expansion prior to TW3 and the 360 version given I have many friends in RL who wish to play it but can't as their PC isn't good enough. Hoping they do the game justice in the 360 version for my friends sake even though working on that means probably much longer will take before see an expansion if any will be made in the first place.

Personally I want to do more with the Hunt plot aspect as an expansion, with the actual war as TW3 afterwards. However timeline wise probably will not get it that way around, with maybe hunt coming after the war unless done in a retrospective way of the expansion covering the hunt where lost memory in first place and events around that instead of continuing the hunt after the war maybe.

Yeeessssss the viper and the wolf dance to the blades song and wrestle impossibilities from the cold hands of death and his eternal hunt, back to back they stand tall against the lash of tyrannous fate and the machinations of prophecy. Now that would be sweet.

@ Dragoon.
Are expansions still lucrative these days?
In any case, I doubt something like the Wild Hunt would be relegated to an expansion only.

I have previously expressed my concern over potentially "dehumanizing and de-politicizing" the series by introducing too much inhuman elements, which I feared was the case when it came to the Wild hunt, but my concerns were reduced thanks to Luxorek.  Though I still personally prefer the war to be the focus of whatever comes next.

We'll see.

I think considering the succes of Witcher 2 on the Pc alone, there is likely to be TW3. And I'm pleased that they did the 360 version after the PC, particularly if it allows them more time to port the game properly and focus on the PC beforehand.

The scale of the events which have taken place, would make a very good TW3, personally I would like to see a lot more of Nilfgaard and Emhyr and the repercussions of one's actions in the events of TW2 on a political level within the North and how it affects the possibility of a cohesive defence against Emhyr's territorial aspirations.

As to the wild hunt plot, since I have only played TW2 so far, I will get to TW1 I promise. It seems to be a plot more personal to Geralt than the wider political ramifications so it could be done in a full expansion if enough time is spent on it, but with this I really don't know I'd need more information on the Wild Hunt and how CD projekt would execute it.

Edit.

Oh and yes KoP I did like Shilard
