For the ambient i seen detailed screenshot...and videos... Seems like amazing all ambient felt really alive and beautyfull evrithing is maked with love in that game its refreshing!

About adult contents i seen a video of geralt on bed a really intense romantic scene... And not voulgar,,The movement felt very natural and charming...

The combat: i love the animation and the combat style

I bought this version and Steam version for myself. Witcher 2 has Steamworks! Achievements, Steam Screenshots and Steam cloud especially will be nice to have.

If it turns out to be a great game, I just may buy the GoG version as well. I already ordered the CE which is crazy expensive but it had several things I really wanted ( art book!) and honestly, I don't mind supporting a company that has so consistently stuck to their guns.

 Those are some mouthwatering screenshots on Gametrailers. Makes Skyrim look like a school art project, let alone DA2, which now comparatively resembles one of my three year old's stick drawings.

Skyrim looks good to me, don't see any problem with graphics.

Oh, it does, it looks fine, very pretty. And nor, literally, does DA2 look like a stick drawing. I was merely employing a little harmless hyperbole . But in truth, nothing I've seen (in any game, frankly) looks as nice as those Witcher 2 screenshots. Has that 'hand built' look that Skyrim doesn't seem to have, for me anyway.

Some of the skyrim images weren't that pretty to me.. like the one with the Orcs.. clearly you can see the overdone bloom on the logs.

But i've seen that they made the BEST dragon i've ever seen in a game before.

yes , for that skyrim is the best the only default a game like skyrim will have to me is a story but it's free open world that 's cool you do what you want with your caracter but for the next give us a little story not 10 hour story + 100 hours do what you want . witcher 2 devs says it's will be between 40-60 hours for the main story and 80-100 with the annexe quest it's 50/50

More blood splashing on the screen? Even in normal combat mode? I really wish they would get rid of this. It's like some carnal nod to shooters, and has no place in this type of game.

I see too little blood in that video and I wish we could target individual limbs for dismemberment (Die By The Sword is the only game to get right )

Yeah realistic decapitations and dismemberment will be nice!.. Not exploding bodies for no reasons..

There will be dismemberment and decapitation last I checked. It was in the Witcher faq. And I saw some limbs being removed in one of the vids.

Nice. Heads could be cut off in Witcher 1 with a certain finisher move.

Question: Am I the only one who doesn't hate the combat from the first game?

I even quite liked it. I just see alot of people say they hated it, and I haven't seen anyone say otherwise. Just curious..

I liked it too.. nothing so awesome but also not terrible.. The animations are quite good

Well I liked it too ... but I think new one is more enjoyable for someone who not play first game. I not hate CDP for this change
