Oh, do I need to dig up the post from the guy who couldn't figure out how to use the Kayran trap and died to the beast? :P

Man do I love Insane without using that program ( just didn't want to risk it for my Iorveth playthrough ). 200 hours on that diifculty is EPIC.

Oh that... well, I equipped the trap and kept trying to use it by the normal trap-use key... hehehe. I'm fortunate enough to be open-minded and thus, able to learn more and more, always. And more so for having good friends willing to teach and share, even with a little occasional mockery about it! ;)

I've always wanted to try this game but my PC's have never been good enough to handle games. I'm excited that it's coming out for 360 though. Do you Witcher fans think it'll transfer well to 360, and more importantly, play well?

Hard to say what they will do. Not sure how they will handle the fact that there are almost no loading times. What they said is that they are approaching it as a seperate project and not just a port. One cool thing is that there will be lots of new things in the xbox version, aside from all the dlc's from the pc, new cgi segments and some new things, but they havent said what yet. Graphic wise Im sure it will be lesser then a PC version as our consoles are getting old, compare a game from 2006 to a game from 2000 and its similar now, 2011 games to a 2006 made console. It still should look good as even on low settings it looks damn good, if they can port medium it should be one of the best looking games on xbox.

Do we have storage on Act 3? I'd love to leave my crafting materials stored to enter 3 real light... hehe

There's storage in every Chapter. Though the storage is bugged in Chapter 1... You cannot access it through the innkeeper. Instead, you have to walk over to the storage chest and use it.

Costin's suggestion is nice. I only got the "Just like the good old days... Haven't killed a Nilfgaardian for years!" when Roche is there for Geralt despite anything. =)

Yeah, I get those problems. The chain combos (I think those happen with signs too) and the medallion ones annoy me, the others like his delay to do actions with stuff don't. Well, I don't really get people's problems with the doors too, it's such a little thing.

The medallion delay when trying to use it again is not a problem. It happens because its effect is still working. As soon as it wears off the medalion is ready for use. I only captured that to show the different behavior with sword sheated and in hand.

The delay in some n on combat actions does not bother me either. But it is weird that some actions have no delay at all. Seting, disarming and collecting traps, for instance, works instantaneously. I just find it werid that other actions don't.

Doors can only be really annoying in places like the mines under Vergen if there are some rotfiends right at the other side. My Geralt kept walking back and forth thru the door instead of atacking.. hehe

The thing about the medallion is that the delay is weird and annoying. It's like there isn't a precise timing where you can use it again and the animation of Geralt trying to use and not working is bizarre, it doesn't feel right. IMO they should let the control up to the player, use whenever and wherever he/she wants to, or make the delay a bit smaller.

Oh and about the doors on combat in the mines happened to me once too, it was awkwardly funny lol

There is. If you look at the Wolf medallion in the top left corner of the screen, you can only use the medallion if the eyes are flashing yellow. When you use it, it no longer flashes and you'll have to yet for the eyes to flash yellow again.

Yeah, it's like a charge led lamp... hehe

After so many runs, first time I went for Triss and let Letho live... on the same playthorugh at least, Yorveth path. Awesome game. All possible endings feel right! hehe...  I never kill the Dragon though. =)

Even killing the dragon feels right to me because of how Geralt shows himself to be a softie at heart.

Finished TW2 for the second time. And I must say that Iorveth's path connects quite a lot with my own real life ideals... Besides that I found that path more fun to play too. And sadly I reached the level cap of 35... Wish it was higher, like 40 or something.
Either way, it's another satisfying playthrough in TW2. Especially with the latest DLC.

TW2 surprises me yet again. No other game has done that so far. (Apart from DAO. Then again, DAO is the game that introduced me to the RPG genre.)

Oh I was playing yesterday and I found that they fixed the alchemy system! Yay!

Now I think that the bigger issues I had with the game systems are gone! Wow, seriously, how cool is that?

Well my brother finished with TW1 and he really really liked it. He is going to start TW2 soon. I can tell he is going to love it, he keeps watching its trailers over and over again.

Well he's not watching now. In general.

I didn't let him start with TW2. He had to play TW1 and before it DA2 so we can get it out of the way.

Heh. Older brother is laying down the law eh?

@ rage. I swear there is a delay problem with blocking ( under certain circumstances), throwing bombs and daggers, and any action I want to execute after I stop running. It can be maddening at times.

Both ;)

It is rather peculiar, but telling, that my brother felt sadder when Foltest died in the prologue, than when Leandra died in DA2 (she didn't leave an impession like Foltest).

And before he kept talking about what would be his ideal antagonist and how a PC should interact with him, and to that I just smirked and said "you'll see what TW2 did"

I am curios Knight, what choices did he pick in TW1?

I was also sadenned by Foltest's death...and by Leandra though I can also agree Foltest's death left more a lasting impact. :(
