I had assumed this is how it would be given their description of the game prior to release. I think it could work, but it would be very hard and labor intensive to do

Doesn't surprise me the 360 will be released sometime next year. I never really believed it would be ready for a Holiday 2011 release. I hope this "major" DLC will add more monsters to hunt down. One thing is for sure, I'll wait for this update before I finally complete another run through the game. (I keep delaying it with every new announcement, lol).

Even better than DLC would be an expansion pack.  Maybe this talk of "major" DLC is a cover for it to really surprise us. /wild speculation

Yeah im almost 100% sure that the major DLC they are referring to will be an expansion pack, or at least 99% of me wants to believe it.

Joystick Awards. Witcher 2 is in best rpg and Ultimate Game of the Year. All you need to do to vote is add your email after picking your games. Get to it!

Isn't it a tad early for GOTY awards and why is New Vegas listed? Came out last year.  Starcraft II shouldn't be on that list either.  Oh well.

Because Golden Joystick does it the only way it should be done. Instead of a game coming out in November being nominated for 2011 Game of the Year when it's only been out like a week.

Anyway, on the topic of The Witcher 2. It's been pushed back on the 360 until Q1 2012. I'm dissapointed but I suppose a delay is a good thing to make sure everything transfers properly and there's no problems.

Unless Skyrim is a total flop like Oblivion, TW2 is going to clean house in any internet and/or actually legit award shows. DA2 could have been a contender given more time, but as of now, it's looking to be between TW2 and Skyrim.

Oh, and DX3.

I don't think Deus Ex or Skyrim will fail either. They've both had too much development time.

I doubt Witcher or Deus Ex would get any attention. Skyrim will win based on name a lone...not referring to Joystick but if there is any awards on internet or tv and Skyrim is in the running most likely Skyrim will win imo.

Same here. I played it on the 360 first so I had no desire to even buy it on PC I was gifted the game on Steam. Vanilla Morrowind > Vanilla Oblivion.

If top games lists are done at all, it has to be done by genre imo.
