Lip synching needs some work, but I like how the Polish VO's are more exuberant. I'll definitely be playing in Polish.

Yeah I wanted to see more of Foltest in the first game, seems like a very deep if flawed character.
He's taking a more active role it seems. I hope we get to see a lot more of him. Considering Foltest and Geralt have a history we could learn a lot about Foltest. Though I'll never get over how his daughter is also his neice....ewww

I really loved the NPC's VO's in that clip but not sure I like Geralt's tone compared to the English actor. Oh well, personal taste.

I did notice a bit of screan tearing during the vid but that may just be a pre-release build or they forgot to set V-sync.
Overall it does seem a lot more polished.
Again my main complaint combat wise is having two swords, it just seems redundant. Maybe having an alternate type of weapon (like a pole-arm, or maybe twin daggers) to give a little more variety to combat, but aside from that it's an improvement.

Saw a vid of combat for TW2 and honestly it looks like they fixed up a lot of problems with the original (Fighting stances just felt forced on you to extend combat, removing this was a wise decision)

The two swords is for a lore reason. Witchers have two swords a silver sword for monsters and a steel sword for people. There are different types of weapons such as axes, halberds, polearms and A LOT more that you can use and crafting has been overhauled so we can make a lot of great armor and weapons.
Also daggers and such are throwable weapons and not sure if they are limited or not. Having swords are entirely optional this time around and can have special magical properties such as a % to freeze enemies.
Combat video You can see Gop scrolling through a huge list of weapons and he mentions that you can craft a lot and you see Geralt using a halberd. We have more freedom in choosing our weapons this time around. Also let's not forget traps! Love traps in a game. Setting up choke points or CC'ing enemies is always great.
I miss traps why it was removed in DA2 is beyond me.

From what i've seen so far this should be much a better game. 16 endings.. Really worth your money especially with the revamp combat and the beautiful world.
See for yourself to believe it.

I seriously hope CD Projekt reverses its earlier position and allows those of us who already paid for Steam pre-order to download and pre-install the game.
What? It's earlier position? CD Projekt RED has no control over Steam, Steam does whatever the **** it wants.

-Do a few side quests, earn some coin.
-Fist fight in tavern, beat local toughs to a bloody pulp.
-Hire hookers. Enjoy.
-Rinse and repeat.

Actually Steam gives publishers a lot of flexibility in certain areas for the games they sell on Steam in areas such as pricing, unlock timing, pre-installs, CD key transfer to Steam, etc.
CD Projekt decided that it wants to make the pre-install a GOG exclusive, which I'm not too happy about because I pre-ordered the Steam version back in December.

This might be, but I'm pretty sure CD Projekt RED made no position/announcment on having pre-install on Steam in the first place, thus couldn't have reversed to it (because said position didn't exist).
As for only going to GoG.com, it makes sense. GoG is the sister company of CD Projekt RED.
