Those minimal settings seem really low just based off the videos and screenshots. Oh well, I shouldn't worry. I don't expect another Crysis fiasco with a punishing graphic engine that ran poorly on most machines.

Well, ME2 looks better and runs smoother on my old rig than ME1.

Optimisation is good.

Yeah, new graphic engines always concern me too. My biggest fear is optimization and how well high settings will run.

minimal requirements you have on steam page :

Good art direction: Cd Projekt has it in spades.

Makes me wonder just how much time they are putting into making this game look good? Will other elements of the game suffer? Only time will tell I guess.

To be honest, it makes me wonder the same. Fantasy RPG's just don't look this good. I hope they haven't sacrificed anything.

But then again, they've been pushing two things above all in their advertising: story and gameplay.

I'm really curious to know if they'll follow through with 16 different endings.

They've said they aren't drastically different, and they can't be. It would make the story too fractured. There has to be a main plot with a few major variations, but not 16 of them.

Hell, I'll predict right now The Witcher 2 will be the best RPG of the year at the very least. These screenshots are amazing.

Another dev diary detailing the engine. Kinda wish Bioware did this type of thing as well. Dev diaries, I mean.

God dammit this game looks incredible. Problem is I have trouble finishing The Witcher because even though it is a great game there are some things about it I just don't like.

Will it be absolutely necessary to finish the Original Witcher to understand the storyline in this game? If so then I may just force myself to finish The Witcher because this sequel looks like a massive improvement.
