****.
I hope this won't affect future writing.

From the article:
“You always have to defeat the huge demon who wants to destroy the world,” he says. “Dungeons and Dragons are cool but it’s abused nowadays. It’s always about fighting the greater evil. In Witcher 2, all the conflict is human."

I remember a quote he once said. "In the Witcher you a Geralt and yea you kill creatures but people are the real monsters." Love that.

That mage was kind of badass and funny. I wish we knew his name.

What I'm looking forward to and hoping is that my boy Grand Master Siegfried(fave character of the series) might have a notable part in this new bonus content.

Stay classy, CDPR.  I wish I could somehow acquire a witcher medallion without having to buy the 360 dark edition or ebay.

:)

That's true. I quit my job at CDPR and joined the Hogs on January. Yes, they are a small company (Hard Reset had around 35 people working at the same time, which is far less than a half of CDPR dev-team), but I treat it more like a challenge than a "downgrade" :). They are the underdogs, but they are growing steadily, and have big ambitions for the future (yes... more coherent narrative and emotionaI engagement is coming ;) ) wish all the best to guys at CDPR though, they have a great team there.

As far as future releases go. Hard Reset has a really great deal of new content coming (I've seen it with my own eyes), although I haven't worked on any part of it I can tell you that visually it elevates above anything from the original game.

W2 on Xbox360 (and Enhanced PC), as you all know will have some new content in chapter 3, and there's a lot of stuff I wrote there, so I'm really waiting to see your reactions and feedback.

Sounds cool, good luck at Flying Wild Hog, Jan. Hoping for some quality titles from both studios in the future. ;)

I was tempted to give a you a guilt trip for leaving CDPR, but I love FWH too. And if you'll be expanding the Hard Reset universe with some solid writing, well, it's much needed. :? Cause quite frankly the story in that game was incomprehensible to me. But the gameplay and visuals are awesome. I look forward to the new content.

First i've heard about this, sorry to see you go Jan, hugely admired the writing and storyline of Assassins of Kings. Good luck at Flying Wild Hog and i'll be sure to keep an eye open for their upcoming games (and get Hard Reset).

I thought Hard Reset was pretty decent but yeah the story was disjointed. Thanks for the news about TW2 chapter 3 content;) Cant wait to start another playthrough now.

Good Luck in your future endeavours Jan.

Hi!
A few words directly from the CD Projekt RED development team
For the last months we've been working hard on The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition, wihich will be available for both Xbox 360 and PC.
As most of you know, we have always listened to gamers in general nad fans of our work in particular.
You wanted Chapter 3 to be longer, so we've added around 4 hours of new gamplay and tons of other great new content to make our game ever better. We really think it was worth it, but naturally, final judgment will belong to you.
Some quick info for all our existing users: all this new content will be available to you absolutely free of charge as an automatic update on April 17th, witch is the release date of The Witcher 2 : Assasins of King Enhanced Edition.
Some time ago we unveiled our new CG Intro for the game, created by Oscar nominee Tomasz Baginski and Platige Image. We thing it's a feast for your artistic sensibilities. If tou haven't seen it yet or just want to gorge on it again, go to our YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/user/Witcher2Game.
Today's video includes 2 shot of other new element we've added to the Enhanced Ediotion. Can you guess witch ones. If you think you know, drop us a line in the comments below
Stay tuned for more info about other new additions to the game. Thanks for watching and for your support!

If you had to pick between the two (The Witcher 2 and MAss Effect 3) which would you choose to play if you only had the time to really immerse yourself in one for the time being?

lol The Witcher 2. I'd rather play it for the fourth time than play ME3.

ME3. I personally think the Witcher 2 is a horrible game.

After 420 hours spent in the Witcher 2 I'd go for ME3 right now.

But once the Enhanced Edition comes out? Screw ME and **** everything else.

I should also mention I'm strictly on consoles, so I've never even had the pleasure of playing The Witcher or The Witcher 2, so either way it would be new experiences on both. The only thing that's slightly making em consider ME3 more is because it's the end I have several saves I would like to take to the end, but I'm unsure about the script. The Witcher 2 seems almost flawless, but the rpg elements seem really complex (the alchemy and meditation portions) and the most complex I've ever got with rpg systems is Fallout 2 - New Vegas so it might be a bit overwhelming to get down at first.

Mass Effect 3.  I'm already wanting a Witcher 3.  My canon Geralt is set in stone and ready to move on.
