anyone knows what it means doppler effect contest winners? Are those winners made into NPC in the game?

Have any of you guys read the novels?

I just bought "The Last Wish" on Kindle for iPhone today, and I hope to finish reading it before the release date. So far, it's excellent, although the story seems to overlap with the events of Witcher 1.

I thought The last Wish was good. It's a fairly quick read and a good intro for the game.

Just finishing my import run of the witcher and i've finally managed to keep Berengar alive, wonder if we'll see any of our fellow witchers in TW2 because I honestly expected Triss to bring the lads to the old manor when i'd cornered Salamandra.

Hell i'd have happily coughed up cash for a game or dlc playing as old Vesemir, the solid Eskel, the sarcastic Lambert or even the doubt ridden Berengar.

Cool.. i'm still waiting the TW1:EE version to be available at GoG on 10 May for $4.99. Argh.. Not enough time for me to play TW1 to continue the story for TW2 then :(

Hope I didn't spoil anything for you Archaven, i'd consider putting two to one side while you experience one and then play straight through because it's that damn good.

I'm about halfway through The Last Wish - and it is an excellent read!

Provides a lot of subtext and motivation for the RP aspect when playing the game.

Hmm you better rush through the game then it comes out only 7 days prior to Witcher 2.

Hell yeah, my fave story is the bruxa/werebeast one. If you enjoy The Last Wish you should check out the Blood of Elves which begins the Geralt's Witcher saga.

All I can say is that TW II better have an awesome button, or I'm demanding a refund!  I'll just fire up DA2 if that's the case, and play it.  I've only had 8 play throughs, and I'm nowhere close to burning out on that game!;)

  Oh slimigrin, you're a card.

The RPG that becomes a legend is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

There is no debate in this. There is recognition of this, and there is ignorance of what The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is.

I think Skyrim was already a legend from the moment it was announced.

The Witcher 2 is the one that becomes a legend.

I will get back to you on this after May 17.

I'm not hyped about Skyrim if none at all after i've seen TW2.. honestly. I'm still keeping an eye for it as the Dragon is really awesome. Apart from that.. i hope it's nothing like Oblivion. The level scaling deter me.. The cartoony look, over-exaggerated bloom, and open-ended world made me feel i'm lost.

You know, he'll be still missing the Sword of Destiny part which introduces some critical characters like Ciri etc.. Not sure why the idiot translator decided to skip it. Posted Image

Fix'd.

So sick of the community forced to fix their games.
