It should go smooth, the game will be almost a year old by EE release, they just need to scale the graphics down really.

I'll check.  I just let it auto-detect.

I know there are high res mods, has anyone tried them?  I was suspicious because before CDPR patched, I had serious mouse-keyboard lag and unresponsiveness so I'd rather have a smooth game than a pretty one.

Then you aren't playing on ubersampling unless the Pentagon loaned you a super computer.

I fiddle with settings till I get a 30-40 fps which is about as good as I can expect given my rig. I lower setting really low for Arena.

I have everything on except ubersampling, fps smooth as melting butter and it looks better than everything I saw from ME3 so far... or Skyrim to be a heretic

TW2 has probably THE BEST use of motion blur I have seen in a game.

I'll take y'all's word for it, then. I'd rather not mess up a game that's finally working for me smoothly.

I'm replaying Flotsam now. I missed some things even there. It's kind of nice to slow down and smell the wolfsbane now that I'm not fumbling around as much. I'll do Roche's path this time and then probably replay Iorveth's path as my "canon" run.

How does the EE work, do we get a free upgrade or do you have to buy it separately?

It's free. Lot's of new stuff coming with the EE, gameplay tweaks included. I hope you've done Claws of Madness, that's a pretty cool quest in Flotsam. Melitele's heart is resolved there as well, but it's damn hard...effin' Wriaths.

Yeah my Geralt is a softie. I just give the ghost nekker gunk, though- is he fooled by pig's eyes? I didn't even get that as a quest prompt so I didn't know you could actually do that.

He also lets Malena go.  It's probably why people keep trying to kill him.  Ungrateful sods.

Oh, and good on CDPR for making the bonuses free to PC players. I figured as much. So I'll wait til the EE comes out to do my canon playthrough.

The quest log says you can use pig parts, their parts, let them go, or feed them to the ghost. And you have like three option with Malena. You don't have to let her go.

Edit: my bad I'm sure thats just your Geralt.

I think with Malena you can let her go, kill her or turn her over to Loredo. No way I'm doing the third. She probably should have gotten run through just for the stupidity of making a clearly sympathetic Geralt of Rivia her enemy- after he lied for her once already and followed her for a tryst.

But yeah, my Geralt tends to side with the Scoia'tael.  Sees them as having been pushed to such ends.

Did anyone catch the note in the insane asylum about the Wild Hunt, and some sort of genocide.

The patient is persistently delusional.  He claims to have been abducted by the Wild Hunt (!)  He recounts fantasies of a world where genocide happened and where unicorns wander human graves.  Furthermore, the patient claims that when he escaped the Hunt's captivity a year ago, so much time had passed in our world that he saw the graves of his children.

its a direct refference to the books. There is a world [SPOILER] that Ciri ends up in where elves made their home after escaping this plane of existance... but encountering humans they didnt let 'em evolve and sloughtered the whole race... except for 'lucky few' that are kept as slaves and labour.

Anyone else think Loredo kidnapped and raped Morill for reasons other than sadism? Marietta commenting about the seed being planted makes me wonder about it, or if Morril's son will play a future role.

I just saw this EE trailer.  Un freaking believable.  It makes ME3's trailer look like a high school film project- an  unimaginative one.

I don't know which studio does Bioware's CGI trailers but I think they do an average job at best. It feels like Michael Bay is at the helm for every one.

I don't think that's the one.

It is kind of spoilery, but well TW2 is called "the Assassins of Kings."
I think it's safe to watch it.

I guess it's spoilery, but the very title Assassins of Kings is spoilery. I don't think you find out anything particularly new and it's entirely different material than what you see in the game. Unless this is supposed to be the new content they're adding?
