The changelog is more like a long patchnote, and I can't really find a detailed summary about the changes.

Around 4 hrs. But one of the preview journalists pointed out it was actually 2 hrs for each path. Plus, they might have more gameplay changes to disuss. To be honest, I was disappointed that some things weren't in the patch, like improved mouse pointer support, fixing shop prices in arena, an improved UI for PC, better targeting and camera when walking through doors, more legible font, comparison tabs when shopping. People have mentioned these things over and over since release.

No argument from me. The actress was very easy on the eyes I admit.Krusty84 wrote...

Also, Robert Gawliński could probably work as a real-life Dandelion, no? Minus the sword and chainmail:D

At least he can explain to the Xbox users the difference between mature and gore.I just wish people would learn to say Geralt's name properly. Seriously how many time do hear his name spoken before you actually take control of Geralt?

GerALT...really, dude? He played the game and never figured out how to say Geralt's name. <_<

Looks like one of the best rendered games I've seen on the 360 so far. The only thing that comes close was Crysis 2 but that game lacked so much personality I couldn't even finish it. For consoles this is great actually. If this was built exclusively for the PS3 though, it would probably dwarf what was done for the PC. In other words, I'm happy with what I've seen so far.
For those of you who've played the game over and over, are there useful guides for potions, trap making, meditating, etc or would I be better off getting the strategy guide? I never purchase extras like that, but this game looks like it has a lot of things you'll need to learn in order to really master the game and I'm already heavily invested.

My advice to anyone starting out would be play Arena mode on easy for a couple hours at least. And I do mean easy. That way you get a chance to experiment in a relatively short amount of time with the skill tree and all the gear.
Applying oils, making traps, lures, etc is all straight forward and your journal describes them pretty well. The only real complexity involves which potions to drink and when to drink them. If you're not up to experimenting, Swallow+Tawny Owl+Marribor Forrest is a solid combo that can more or less take you through the whole game. But I like to tinker and see dramatic results. If there is a Prima strategy guide, it would be interesting to see what they say about alchemy, cause the devs haven't said zip.
Actually, the skill tree can be a little hard to understand too. I hope they've rewritten some of the descriptions. Also, for your first run I'd go with a mix of swordsman and Magic. Alchemy tree is pretty tricky to focus in.

Strategy guide really isn't necessary the standard version of the game comes with it's own guide for quests. Everything else you can read from the ingame glossary. I have some advice though.
For the first 6 points you spend in the Training tree I say spend 2 points in Vigor Regeneration, Hardiness and Parrying. You have to spend 6 points in training to access the other three talent trees unless they have changed it in the new patch.

I also recommend upgrading Quen I know it's being changed though so I'll have to play and see how it affects me in terms of damage mitigation so I'm not entirely sure.
You should also harvest anything and everything you see. The most useful bombs imo are

Zerrikanian sun. Cause a very useful stun on anyone and everyone and extremely cheap to produce. No reason not ever have these hotkeyed.
Grapeshot which is is a small explosion that hurts everyone in it's AoE but it's small but cheap to make another bomb you should always have equipped.
Dancing Dragon. Dancing Dragon also is a lot of fun to throw around and makes a really good looking explosion!
Traps are really only useful at the beginning of the game since you should feel weak and vunerable. My favorite traps to use are
Fury which causes enemies to fight each other like Axii except it can affect multiple peoples naturally.
Talgar Winter is useful against packs since it slows down anyone in it's blast radius.
Snare is really strong if you have Alchemist rank 2. It will up the damage of Snare from 40-50 to 40-100 and they are reusable.
As for my 3 potions I usually explore with are

Rook which increases sword damage by 5%
Swallow increases Vitality regeneration.
Petri's Philtre increases sign intensity since I like using signs.
As for oils well obviously you use whatever for your current situation in Act 1 Insectoid oil is useful since you'll see alot of Endrega's and Hanged Man's venom should really always be on your steel sword.
And lastly here is a Witcher item database very quick way to see some of the gear you'll find so you can plan ahead unless your gonna play on Dark Mode and decide to go for the dark armor.

This. I had it mixed up you want to maximize your mutagens. There is like a tiny dot you see in the picture I linked if it has that you can upgrade your talent with a mutagen which can do things like increase your base damage, critical effects, regen and such.

Why? I usually get hardiness when I'm in Arena. Maybe I shouldn't bother.

Because 10 or 50 health is pointless.

I liked the video. The guy hits the proverbial nail when it comes to the maturity of the story.
Who cares if he mispronounces "Geralt."

This. I know I have this on the PC, but I'll pick it up on the XBOX for my brother, I might well have a go myself to see how it looks and feels.

Leave it to you to have the most detailed answer. I'll definitely need to reference this, only sixteen days left. Can I try this stuff in the arena demo? I know it's online somewhere.
