That trailer positively nails it. Very well done. Too bad it can't be included as a short movie intro in the game. Anyone have a link to the details on the patch? Can't believe it's goign to be 10 Gigs. That's insane.

I'm not really getting that feel from the instructions in the videoslimgrin wrote...
In the second vid, the tutorial instructs the player to time his parry just before the enemy strikes.

That's awesome. Shows Geralt more like he is in the books.

One time, half-jokingly, a friend of mine claimed that Witcher 2's Enhanced Edition is happening only due to the backlash towards Mass Effect 3's ending. Out of curiosity I did a bit of research
The claims of extending Act 3 by 4 hours were seen this January on numerous interviews
By late February CDProjekt had announced they would be adding 33-38 minutes of cinematics (depending on source the amount of minutes can vary)
The earliest mention of "Extended Outro" that I know of is mid March when the Extended Edition Feautres Trailer was released. The mention of extended outros is thus after ME3, however the cinematic time has been mostly unaltered to this day, so it is very likely that they had planned it far before ME3 but the rage over internet made them give outros (nice wording btw, not "ending" but outro) its own mention in the trailer.
Any thoughts?

My thought is that Bioware is not the center of the universe and CDPR does what it does because it wants to support its game and respond to player feedback as much as possible. Also that they wanted to have something meaty for the Xbox release.

That´s great, I was really worried about this. Where was this confirmed?slimgrin wrote...
Edit: One of the devs just confirmed the meditation cutscene has been cut from the Xbox version but is still present on PC.

LOL I take homage in chocolate.
It's possible they timed the Xbox release for after ME3's release, but that would have been planned long ago.
