I went for Shani but the romance ended with Geralt realizing he couldn´t give her a normal life and implying he´d break with her. Was that possible to avoid?

Got at least 150 hours in the original. Waiting for the DLC on PC and ill go for yet another playtrough of Witcher 2, can't wait.

My GOTY 2011. If DLC justifies it, probably GOTY 2012 as well.

Quick question: having never played TWI, I've heard good things re TW2. Is it a purchase on the Xbox for a Bioware fan that puts emphasis on good-story telling and interesting characters? With that said, I was not a big DA:O fan, but that was due to the combat mechanics.

You will be blown away by the story telling and the characters. I would advise you to watch the 5-min video about the most important things that happened in Witcher 1 though, some interesting info.

Also the combat system is pretty nice, specially with a controller (Use an Xbox controller for my PC version).

It's safe to say that you'll feel very much at home playing Witcher 2, although you'll have no actual "party members" to assist you 90% of the time, they're mostly recurring characters like Captain Anderson, frequently participating in the story but only joining you in combat maybe once or twice

If that's the case you should be good.  TW2 is an amazing cinematic game, heavily story focused and the combat is action-based.

- an expansion

- a toolset

- a Triss blow up doll

- an epic SciFi rpg

Actually, in November 2011 they confirmed that they are working on a Sci-Fi RPG.

I wouldnt be surprised, they have said in the past they had a project with story written by 'well-known' polish (sci-fi) writer - or talks in that direction. If this would mean Dukaj, the community would ****** their pants the second it was announced

I've heard that to but I'd like any clues no matter how vague really. But if it's a Polish author then Dune unfortunately is ruled out.
