It's not something that i need to make it as a Vs. thread. I'm just highlighting some of the images i've seen about Skyrim is inconsistent. Some looks really good.. some of them looks like a slight upgrade of Oblivion. Regardless i will keep an eye before jumping to conclusion that Skyrim is the best 2011 RPG.

Your analysis of the screens is interesting; however, please post your Skyrim comments in the Skyrim thread and let's keep this Witcher thread focused on Witcher.

now on-topic, any new trailers(non-spoilerish) of TW2? seems like the marketing team of CDPR is not really active in pushing the game.

I'm going to bring up DA 2 marketing. We got 2 cinematics from Bioware, a combat video and a couple of gameplay videos. I can't remember more then that.

CDProjekt has given us 5 dev diaries, a lot of gameplay videos were released. There are no cinematic videos released because everything uses the ingame graphics no need for a CGI video.

Only 15 days to go!

yes to soon , like before on january , when people will kill to play dragon age 2 and after the demo was deceave and after the game say what bioware ****ing off here .at the endof the year if skyrim come out you could compare but i will say that GOTY will come easily to diablo 3 if it come out this year xd ' it's blizzard ) ( and i m witcher fan since always)

Too son? It's been four years. Not one. CDProjekt seems to have actually tried to make a sequel worthy to the original. Yes I am excited for Diablo III even more then Skyrim but damn it man spellcheck and grammar!

xd:) witcher is witcher but with a little time we will see what's the future reserve.but one thing that's certain is that cd project is for me one of the rare editor has still worried about his fans to change their games . i hope that's cd project remain faithful to its policy which is the same as Blizzard "release a game when it's ready"

I'm still surprised Witcher 2 for the US hasn't been censored frankly. I just want the game already so that way we don't get last minute changes as well.

Based on some of the sex clips I've seen, its a miracle the US version hasn't been censored.

well they will change one side quest in fact. Shame for Australians then or more likely for Autralian government.

Since the U.S. release recieved an M rating the ESRB clearly felt the sex scenes are not graphic or prolonged enough the warrant an AO (Adult Only) rating.  Would have been definitely censored then but nothing to worry about now.

No everything is intact except that sidequest you can't accept sex as a reward Geralt just automatically declines the sex.

At least it's nowhere near as bad like with Witcher 1.

I wasn't aware that they had incorporated a save game import feature into the game. That just makes me want to finish my current playthrough even faster.

Depending on your decision Act 2 can be completely different I belive. Not sure if other Act's are effect but Act 2 I heard is. Which is something I wish DA2 had considering they hyped up importing saves.

And on Medium the game looks good. I might have to play on high because I'll be playing at 1920x1200 or 1080 for awhile. I may suffer a low framerate if it runs higher then 20 fps on a single HD 5770.

Planning on building a new PC...any suggestions =D

I'm interested to know how the game runs for you. I will be playing at 1920x1080 on a laptop with AMD 5830M, which is basically a slightly gimped version of the desktop 5770. If you don't get a decent frame rate with your desktop card then I am SOL.

I was able to play Crysis 2 at max settings at 1920x1200 res at 40+ fps most of the time and even went to 60 fps in some areas. I'm hoping because it's DX9 graphics I get a decent framerate.

I always prefered Nvidia so my next computer is gonna use Dual Nvidia cards. Not sure which for now.

I thought DX11 was better optimized, so that you get better frame rates in DX11 mode?

There is no DX11 it's gonna be patched in the summer with the toolset.

Nope, on the Witcher forums they said it may be patched in but don't count it.
