I planned on playing for an hour or two, I ended up playing all day. I might still be at it right now but I'm too tired to kill the damn Kayran.

The hangover side mission was great. Waking up on the shore and having to piece together what happened and why all your items are missing... Priceless.

Does anyone know when I'll be able to change my hairstyle? Kind of a minor wonder but I am interested since its DLC.

Dwarf librarian? Lolllll. I'll be on the lookout. Thanks.

I've heard the word "ploughing" about 30 times already. Funny every time.

Haven't played 2 yet but I'm doing a proper playthorugh one 1 for context and re-evaluation. Up to Chapter 2, combat isn't as annoying as I remember from my last play a year or so ago which is good but still found some of the missions annoying due to having to run back and forth across the entire map multiple times - hopefully there arn't any more of those further on.

But I feel I'm having a better experience playing clean slate.

So if Slimgrin reads this, I take back 90% of my Witcher hate from the past few years. This game is boss. I still vehemently dislike the first game, but I've been playing Witcher 2 on 360 for like 12 hours today and I'm completely engrossed.

And another one sees the light. Posted Image

So, is anyone else experiencing extremely long loading times when you start up the game and resume your game play? Was told that it's because of too many saves in the save folder. I deleted some, but it's pretty annoying to have to delete your saves except for the latest one to be able to continue your game.

Extremely long? Not really. Just delete the autosaves and keep the manual saves, it does help a bit.

Yeah it was strange. It took around 10 minutes of loading before I googled the issue and deleted some saves. After that it took less than 30 seconds to load the game.

Yep, they've added plenty of animals.  The first thing I noticed whenever I walked into Flotsam was a couple of hogs wallering around in a mud puddle.:P

I'm still looking for that dog that's been there since the game was first released.  The one that's always barking and howling in the background.  Sounds like a hound dog.  Still haven't seen it yet.  I wanna give him a couple of dog biscuits so maybe he'll shut up.^_^

I'm looking forward to another play through now that the enhanced edition is out.  I haven't played the game in 6 to 8 months.  I thought that CDPR really raised the bar a notch with this game.

"Plough more, plough more!"  If you do Roche's path you'll know that song better than you'd like thanks to a certain quest.  Posted Image

That quest is about the only reason I love the usage of the term, else I would be irritated at them not using f uck instead.

Yes it is annoying, so I recommend relying on quicksaves most of the time, it automatically overrides the previous one.

But the saving mechanics are a hassle and it is a hassle to try and preserve older saves for import.

It's not really an issue.

Finish Game.
Get last autosave
Create Folder for Imports, and copy it there.
Win.

Well it's still a hassle the game just keeps creating saves. They should have used slots instead.

Finished my EE Roche playthrough and seeing the new exclusive quests for that path in Chapter 3 really illustrates what a joke Bioware and it's "choices" and it's handling of additional content are.

Look forward to my EE Iorveth playthrough where I know I'll get something other than throwaway dialogue, interchangable characters or whatever "romance" my hermophrodite character fancies like in BW game.

Yep. Annoying as hell, though there are is a mod for this if you play on PC. Wait... nope, it's not compatible with EE. For now.

Cheers, I'll keep an eye for updates then.

I don't know which dev thought it was a brilliant idea, it made sense when the set was incomplete, but it just ruins the beautiful visuals, and blinds you in caves.

He has a shop right across from the dwarf smithy in Flotsam. As for the other chapters I forget. It's been a few months since I've played, but damn is it refreshing to come back to this game

Someone linked this over at Witcher forums short and to the point.Sessler's Soapbox: A Gift From Poland. Adam praising Witcher 2 on the 360. Only person over at G4 I like I really liked at how he compared Witcher 2 Eastern Europe cuisine.

"Witcher 2 could be the standard of next gen consoles" imagine that.

Hım, im one of them minority who loves that effect i guess. Sound effect start to distrub a while after but in my humble opinion that "darkness" effect rocks.
Fits with dark difficulty setting, hard mode getting harder with partial blindness :)

Well actually after completing any dark set game really become easy :)

I noticed a flicker while I'm in inventory or journal menus (I'm on 360). Every time I scroll down, I see a momentary flash of black, like there's a lag. Waa.

I got a chuckle out of the "Hung Over" quest - reminded me of Sanguine's quest in Skyrim a bit. It would have been perfect if there had just been a goat...
