Heh. That's like my current TW1 game. I don't know why, but Geralt is hustling every dice game in Vizima and still only scraping by. I guess he doesn't use Axii sign on principle, eh. I would.Khayness wrote...

Oh yeah. I've spent an entire afternoon to rob Thaler blind for the 5k jacket in Act 2.
I'm nothing if not dedicated.

So I still can't get the game to work, haven't had much time to dedicate to eradicating the effects from 2.1, but after visiting Red and GoG forums it seems that the game is quite buggy now. Does it really run worse? Maybe I should just forget the EE and go back to 2.0.
Run worse? I'm actually able to get to 30fps with ubersampling not that I'll use it but I have the option now. KoP also has seen some kind of performance increase.
As for your game buggy well idk I have the Steam version and it works better than before.

Yay more riddles!
The gargoyle circles were pretty cool, the Architect entrance spirit was annoying.

Finally got it to work. Too bad they recommend you start from scratch. I had a 30+ hr save file at chapter 3 just so I could shack up with goldilocks. Oh well.

I've seen some of the dippier 360 crowd commenting on the game. Complaining that Geralt is a JRPG character... (is hating white hair because it's a cliche not a cliche in itself by now?)... calling it medieval Mass Effect... ugh. Pearls before swine.
Well, given that not many European RPGs are on the X-box (like Gothic and Drakensang, Divine Divinity), they don't have a lot to compare The Witcher franchise to, so I'm not taking them seriously.
European RPGs pretty much want to do their own thing and not trying to fit the mold.

We need to be patient and try to convince them otherwise.
If they are not the type to be convicned, then the franchise doesn't need them to begin with.
@ Slim
Definitely running better from my end, and I've not experienced bugs that I can remember.

Unfortunately, underage youngsters will always figure out how to get their hands on any game regardless of the rating.Addai67 wrote...

In Roche's camp in act 2, one commando has a [PL][EN] as a prefix to his name and once Triss' name changed into King Kong

Is that good or bad? Also...what classes are there?

No classes only different skill trees. They can radically alter your playstyle if you pick wisely.

Some of these may be jokes by the devs. I know Sile had King Kong flash above her after killing the Kayren. Also. I just killed a hen.
As for casting without drawing sword and active guard for silver sword: these are actually important improvements to gameplay. I'm tired and won't go into it now, but I'm genuinely surprised they listened as these were issues mostly brought up on the forums, to my knowledge.

Too bad that Brock is still broken though. It has the exact same positive effects as Wolf, but it also has crippling negative effect :-/

Hens are evil.
They keep coming back no matter how many times you kill them.

So, is anyone else experiencing extremely long loading times when you start up the game and resume your game play? Was told that it's because of too many saves in the save folder. I deleted some, but it's pretty annoying to have to delete your saves except for the latest one to be able to continue your game.
Yes it is annoying, so I recommend relying on quicksaves most of the time, it automatically overrides the previous one.
But the saving mechanics are a hassle and it is a hassle to try and preserve older saves for import.
This actually got worse this morning. Deleted all the saves except for the latest quick save and the game wouldn't load. I restored the latest autosave and the game loaded in 3 seconds. I really hope that I won't come to a point where none of my saves will load :/.

Not sure what to say, I had a similar thing happen to me with Witcher 1 saves, but for some reason TW2 saves have been working like a charm.
