*fans self* TW3 plus a new IP with similar values to The Witcher (but likely a shooter type)... I feel faint.

SCI-FI as well. I bet they will make something like Mass Effect but without the bull****.

A scifi rpg that isn't about saving the galaxy would be well worth the wait.

As long as CDPR showers me with political goodness (and I don't care how gay or weird that sounds), I'll dig whatever genre / period they decide to go with.

Agreed. I actually trust their artistic vision.

I think what I enjoy the most(est!) about the game is the seriously grey morality. There's no obvious good or bad, and even characters like Saskia can be RP-ed as worth saving for one person and not for another with good reason. The fact that a great majority of character deaths aren't meaningless, but play a role in how the game is shaped later on is also a plus!

I also like that the epilogue I got was perfect bittersweet.  There was good and there was bad, and although I wished things didn't turn out a certain way in some cases.. I find myself wanting to stand by the decisions I made, simply because the decisions are so much more than "he's evil and he's good."

Actually, it was said that a Sci-Fi writer has written a story that will be used in the next game. This does not mean that another book will be adapted. I could as well mean that they used some real talent to flesh out a good story for the next project.

Just finished the EE. I'm simply amazed. I'm kicking myself for pre-ordering games like ME3 and DA2, but not the TW2.

I'm hoping my Geralt can reunite with Yennefer in TW3. Triss really isn't my cup of tea. I can't wait for a sci-fi game by them.

Wonder if they'd actually give us a choice between Yen and Triss? Choosing Triss would be... quite epic since Yen is supposed to be his true love from the books.

I suppose it can happen - if Yen is  seriously wrong in the head after a "trauma" and Geralt has a choice to save her sacrificing Triss or let Yen go, let her die (again, lol), and move on, but choose to be a lone wolf - the third choice...

And I would like to see Vesemir making a come back :)

I just remembered something that was bugging me during my time in Vergen. Kinda forgot about it around the time I started running into all those freaking harpies but it's something that the game has in common with Dragon Age 2. No female dwarves!

Female dwarves are so attractive, that they must be hidden from males of other races. True story.

The dwarves in Witcher 2 were just plain. awesome. Nearly every epic line during Vergen was said by a dwarf. I'm doing a Roche playthrough now, and I can't bear to think of a game where I might be fighting them. TBH I prefer the nonhuman path.

I had no idea that the talisman newboy had was a -10 armour enchantment. So i found him dead at the castle.

I did not even know that this was a choice, all i knew was the talisman was magic!

Did i just become a douchebag without knowing?

I just read a article on 1up about this titled: Evil and Loving it: Six Decisions That Tap into Our Dark Side.

You can take the talisman and have the cursed removed in Chapter 1.

I had no idea i could explore outside Flotsam. Decided to let Melena have a nasty fate with Loredo's men, nobody betrays me.

The troll is instantly the best character so far. A drunk talking troll.

I loved becoming a hitman for the troll.  Geralt saying "the troll sends his regards" right before killing the target is the most awesome line in the game.

A pissed up talking troll is the most unique thing i have seen in a fantasy rpg so far. I  can't wait to see that line, need to stop a troll from boozing.

It made up for the fable 3 fail and the lackluster Dragon age 2.all while giving me Game of thrones before Game of thrones.

Its the best RPG i played in years.
Sure i like ME2 and DX:HR for the sci-fi setting.

But overall ,
Everyone should be taking notes from the witcher 2 and how CDPR does business.
With one game they have blown everyone else out of the water.
Best moral choices i have ever seen in a game
Dynamic stories that actually change how you play the game based on decisions.
How to make fun and deep game play at the same time.
The list goes on and on

Dimitri threw knives at me during the fight. At first I didn't realize what was taking my health down. Makes the fight harder than it was in 2.0.

Shani should go back to Siegfried. They were SO close to getting it on when I invited ol'Sieg to the party.
