And why wouldn't he support it? He greatly dislikes Phillipa and isn't afraid to use force when necessary.

That doesn't mean he wants to kill all mages.

It's possible that he supported it, and I would consider that act stupid. Understandable, but stupid.
From what I see, I think Radovid is too intelligent and pragmatic to give in to indiscriminate hate, especially considering how useful mages can be, and was simply unable to stop the crazed soldiers and the angry mobs.

Either way, he would have failed, but one failure fits his character more I feel (the latter).

I seriously didn't find much differences between their methods and attitudes and that of the Squirrels, who obviously do not observe celibacy. Besides, as opposed to the Squirrels, knights actually do help some people and do it free of charge.

Like Geralt said in Witcher 1 "I guess faires build your castles and armor". The Order is just better funded.

Only because Squirrels' main funder ditched them after the last war.

Well thank you. Baron Kimbolt was my last character to write while still in CDPR (well, alongside Natalis but he doesn't get a lot of screen time).

Some conversations I wrote I felt I got carried away with, but when I read posts like these I feel it was so worth it. You really dig the deeper layers to the lore's philosophy. I'm happy that some of the political conversations that you brough up on this forum were mine (whole Radovid, meeting Loredo, political debate at Loc Muinne, etc.).

Thank you not for kind words, but for supporting my belief in gamers.

One of the best moments by far is when Geralt,Siegfried and Roche were marching off together as the three amigos. Siegfried actually interacting with Roche blew my mind after coming off of ME2 where the squadmates wouldn't even recognize each others' existence let alone talk to each other. Siegfried. Siegfried telling him that Redanian colors would suit him was epic.

This along with reuniting with Siegfried at the gates of Loc Muine were my two favorite moments.

Oi, Seboist. I'm sorry but every time I see your TIM banner it just looks to me like a person in a g-string squatting. I had to do a double take when I saw it first, lol. And actually read what was said. Sorry dude but I couldn't help myself. :P

Ah, about to embark on Roche's path. Actually got the part where we just get to the camp in ACT 2 and Roche has to vouch for Geralt. I've heard good things about this path but it's gonna be hard without all the dwarves around. Also gonna miss Iorveth. Dude was brutal and it took a while to get along with him but he was pretty slick when it came down to it.

Oh, and I guess no Troll and Femtroll too.  :(

Wow these are all yours? These were some of my favorite parts in the whole game.
And now I am kind of worried that you left...

Honestly, the conversation with Kimbolt blew my mind. It's always great to have the protagonist questionned (reasonably) and see how he retorts. And I very much liked how we could have Geralt admitting that he isn't that different from Letho. That conversation hit several birds in one stone (shape Geralt's beliefs / perspectives more, further elaborate on the relationship between him and Letho...etc) and the role playing possibilities are so great in it. Excellent work.

Also, Natalis was awesome. "My word still means something, unlike yours, you lying rotten son of a ****"

I'm really looking forward to your work in the future!

It honestly wasn't intentional and just caught me off guard before I managed to discern Timmy's head, lol. Like I said, sorry!

Roche: "Dethmold lost his family jewels." I laughed so hard when he said that.

Someone needs to make a drawing or something of Radovid with Roche on his left and Siegfried on his right.

EDIT: also, TIM is ****. (I realize I also have him in my sig, back when I thought he'd be awesome)

I think ME3 ruined or simplified the characterisations of quite a few characters in my honest opinion. Timmy, Ash and Udina (upset me most surprisingly) come to mind immediately but I'd rather not think of that at the moment. No use getting upset over something spilled and there are enough threads detailing issues with the game.

So, Phillipa spanking Cynthia! Eh?

If I knew how to draw I'd do that. :(

Hopefully we get to see the Order and the "Red Stripes" commanded by the two of them in action against the black ones in TW3. :D

TIM's character concept and potential is still awesome but it's a shame he was mishandled by this hack company EAware and not one like CDPR. I'm still a TIM fan despite their idiotic pandering and inability to create a cohesive and better planned series.

The thing that saddens me most in relation to actually liking Witcher 2 is that it's gonna be quite a wait before 3 is released. I know, I know. The more care the better but I want to find out what happens NOW!
I'm really excited to see what they can do with the Next Gen consoles. It should be quite a treat in a lot of ways (though I assume the PC is gonna remain their baseline?)

This actually made me wonder if she wasn't "gay for pay" so to speak.

She had to be. She was going to play whatever role was necessary to place herself in Phillipa's confidence. Whether it means giving her massages or getting whipped on the ass, she's gonna do it. I would like to have seen a bit more of their relationship. Just how much much they trusted each other (or well, how much Phillipa trusted her). Still, my Geralt ended up ending her and her multiplying friend. Didn't want that tech falling into Nilfgaardian (really anyone's for the most part) hands and just a little treat for what she did to Triss.

I can see myself cozying up to her in a future playthrough though.

Adelbert just asked for it. Arrogant ******. For the north it's really better if she's dead too, imo. Otherwise the emperor will get the device AND the book about that plague that killed the Vran.

I originally just let her have the device in order to see if it was possible to plough her after that before reloading and killing her. :P

Depends.

I wrote the pieces in Flotsam (dialog in the elven ruins, with Iorweth). I also wrote the quest with the assasins in Act 2, but I think Sebastian (our lead writer) wrote the final conversation with him in Loc Muinne.

Ooh biological warfare, eh?

I don't know what happens in that quest yet, though I did see the convo with Cynthia. It's good that they had a more likeable Nilfgaardian character who tells us about the good qualities of the Empire, though she's clearly brainwashed to an extent.

Thanks for sharing!

I'm asking because Letho is my favorite character of the game. And my favorite antagonist of all time.

If there's a pro-Nilfgaard path in TW3 then I'll import a save where I give her and Adelbert the device(despite Iorveth path being the more anti-Nilfgaard of the two). That and a TW1 Neutral path import where I killed Ada,Siegfried and Yaevinn.

Leuvaarden in TW1 was also a Nilfgaardian and was rather a friendly character. Although, in the context of ongoing invasion, his role as an obvious spy might have been far more sinister.

I honestly didn't think it was possible to even see her again after giving her the tome and device. Otherwise, I might have just let her go haha.
I did end up getting smashed during my first fight against her and that guy though. Wasn't ready for that onslaught. Reloaded and stacked up. Lucky for the groggy effect that Aard induces.

I'm planning to do the same. Though I'll end up killing Adelbert all the same. Geralt isn't gonna pass off on a chance of using the thing!

In retrospect it's a bit jarring they didn't have Nilfgaard have a hand in Jacques' scheme of overthrowing the northern monarchies and having their populations move down south.
