Why hard? None of the choices in TW2 will have any effect in TW3. Just like the ones in TW1 didn't matter. Nothing beyond something being mentioned in passing or a 1-minute cameo, à la BioWare.KnightofPhoenix wrote...
I must say that the end choice is particularily hard because they both offer pros and cons. I still believe that helping Roche and giving Anais to Radovid to be the wisest course of action as far as the North is concerned. But it's a close call.

We, those of us who are fools, hope they do matter a lot more then that.
Sure it could burn us badly in the end, but I think TW2 will matter a lot more then TW1 choices.

I believe CDPR will go beyond that, though I am not expecting game changing consequences.

1. In between the scenes of Geralt's truimph over the Dragon and him climbing back into Luc Muine there's a cutscene showing Knights of the Order executing Temerian troops and civilians.
2. In the epilogue reel it shows Temeria being divided along the lines of the Baronies' provinces and a scene where Roche and Anais are by a campfire(he's a wanted fugitive suspected of killing Henselt).

Oh that's cool. I am guessing Redania is not strong enough to completely annex Temeria without Anais, which makes sense.
Can you send me that save please?

Just got done finishing a save where I saved Triss in my Henselt dead Roche path run and the following happens:

Why would Radovid order the execution of Temerian troops and civilians at the meeting if Henselt dies?
Wouldn't it be more fitting if Kaedwenni troops kill them as a revenge for the rumor that Roche killed their king?

Triss says the skirmish started by Kaedwenis and Temerians (and we do see Kaedwenis killing Temerians).
The Order went in to re-impose..order. It is also possible that Radovid took advantage of this opportunity to eliminate some key personnel.
It carries another dimension if Temeria is to be separated between Kaedwen and Redania. The Order could have been eliminating those who oppose the idea.

Preparing the annexation by eliminating key personnel who could oppose that. That makes sense, I guess.

There were no random civilians in Loc Muine. I believe those were Temerian nobles.

Btw, the equivalent scene to the Order executing the Temerians on Iorveth path is Philippa stumbling around the streets of Luc Muine and incinerating some troops(forgot what country they belonged to) after she had heard them gasp over her doing the same to some bird right before.

Hey, sorry if this is kinda random, but yesterday I had my first fight with Letho (chapter 1) and when it ended and I was standing in the bath house, my sword was gone. (regular, not silver)

It's in a loot bag on the floor where you fought Letho.

I know exactly what bag you are talking about, but it had a different sword.
Just a bug I guess, no big deal.

She incinerated a bird?
Either cause she's blind or that pissed off. Still it's always good to see more of Philippa. I really hope that TW2 will have an expansion where Eilhart will show up again.
TW2 was definitely about the fall of the Lodge and Philippa being defeated. But I would ove to see her recuperating and being the magnificent **** we know she is.

It was a rat in my game. Do the animals change?
The soldiers are Kaedweni. Probably hoping for another "easy" target to rape and murder. To bad they picked Philippa.

Self defense. She kills everything that comes near her. First the animal, next the soldiers and then proceeds to stumble to her "freedom" while reaching out with her hands. She can't see a thing... and probably getting you eyes spooned out could make you angry

Both actually. She's none too thrilled about getting the Radovid spoon treatment not too long before that.

Hmm, might've been a rat. Either way it was a small dark animal that got BBQed.

After what happened to her, I wouldn't blame her for being a bit paranoid.
And killing rats is ok.

After the treatment all the mages are getting if you see that scene I wouldn't blame any of them for being paranoid.
Following that scene you meet a young sorceress about to get raped by some Kaedweni soldiers who tells you that her sister got violated and murdered after the soldiers chopped of her hands so she couldn't cast a spell. Don't know if you "meet" her on Roches path too.
The whole "don't save Triss" scenario is pretty damn horrifying. Don't think that I could choose/stomach that path again.

There are two bags, you get one sword as a reward for that duel, that's Letho's sword, and you will find yours in another bag.

I'd never sacrifice saving Anais with Roche for Triss, though I will gladly kill Saskia myself on Iorveth's path and save the mage.

If there's one thing I can say I hate about The Witcher 2, it's dice poker, or more like quick save/load poker. I know it's not important at all, but I get the completionist itch whenever I try to ignore the quests.
Yeah, dice poker sucks ass. I'm a completionist too and I only do the ones in Flotsam so I can get the poor Troll his woman's head back.
