I wouldn't hope for much, considering how CDPR ruined Sabrina Glevissig's look after TW1.Seboist wrote...
I'm hoping she looks like her Spanish Sword of Destiny cover incarnation. <3
I might end up with Triss just for the fact that Geralt dumping his one true love for her friend... would be epic. Bioware could takes some lessons from Sapkowski and CDPR about how romances should be part of the narrative instead of tacked on fan wanking.

The import thing surfaced after the game was out and I think they back-tracked the whole thing to make it possible. IIRC it was implemented with some late patch.
After what game was out? TW2? The function to import witcher 1 saves was there since the beginning.
And I don't care for excuses, either a game doesn't give me a choice to import or it does and if it does it shouldn't laugh at my choices.
Is the music that is played during the cutscene between the acts and in the epilogue in the OST?
I don't think so. Oddly enough the OST has the gamescom trailer music.

If that's ruining it, then they can lay waste on every character design from now on.
Sabrina looked quite cute in TW2, compared to TW1.

This just shows how English VO ruins Triss character. At least from all I heard from W2 trailers and videos since I play with Polish VO. She has been through a lot too and I just dont hear it in her English voice.slimgrin wrote...
Yes. Both sound too American. Doug ****le can pull it off, but whoever voiced Triss and Dandelion can't. I encourage all gamers to at least check out the Polish VO's, for the simple reason that the cast for the main characters is arguably better than the English cast. Both Triss and Geralt sound awesome.
And Dandelion in English reminds of Alan Wake
I really recommend to everyone, who hasnt yet played the game with Polish VO to do it. As I said, Triss sounds like completely different character. And I found everyone to be if not better than at least at same level as English VO.

Triss and Dandelion's VAs where horrible just ugh.
Try the german VA sometimes and you will learn to appreciate their english counterparts![]()
Sadly german voice acting is always worse then the english counterpart, if you ask me. Not convincing nough, not enough emotions, sounding like they just read the text from their paper. We need people that actually take VA serious, like Jennifer Hale for example. But at the moment that is still lacking.
I will never ever play a game in german, if I have the option to play it in english.
The only VA I like in the german version is Geralt's, but I'm not sure if he hits Geralt's dead pan attitude because he knows how to do it, or if he just isn't trying at all.
The German VO's are indeed worse.

Geralt sounds great but that Triss sounds too old, at least compared to the English VA- which I didn't mind.
Triss is over 40.

Considering how stupid it is to pick Shani, I'd say it almost deserves to be laughed at...
Before you over-react, I am joking. Not at the stupid part I stand by it, but by it deserving to be ignored in the original version (a journal entry is sufficient for me, Shani has no place in the plot or in the future of the Witcher in general).

Might bring more attention here on BSN if you give it its own thread, which is well-warranted judging by the content.

Okay.
These guys just cemented themselves as my new favorite developers.
Being so open with everyone and honest with themselves ("our PR sucked", etc.) is just so refreshing in this jaded market and industry.

Looks like one of those ****s in Flotsam. But she got burnt at the stake, which in this case is a very good thing, so the whole discussion is moot anyway.

I felt like I would be "hogging" hangmans tree's input due to him providing info I was oblivious to at that point in time.
Hence my hesitation hehe.

Wow... I just seen a real ending. I had almost forgot.
It is a rarity these days apparently.
What did you think of the game?
Also, what did you do with Letho?
My first playthrough is always kind of a speed run to learn the game etc. I really enjoyed it and plan on completely beating all of it. The Different story branches, all side missions, etc. I did skip a few things. It helps replay IMO,but this game does a good job with replay value by itself. Although there is no NG+???
Letho was a blast. It just had to be Vodka... We drank, then fought. Sile? Is that her name? (The mage at the end stuck in the portal.) That was an interesting choice IMO. I killed her, then got killed by the Dragon. LoL then I decided to save her to see the difference, and was surprised by her response after you save her life. I did not expect it.
I saved Saskia and can not wait to save Triss. I have a save right before this decision,so I could easily load it up and just see,but I think I am going to take Roche's path and save her in that playthrough next. Then potentially 2 more playthroughs with the alternate choices being made.

One reason I like Triss, because at least in TW2 she grubs up a bit.
@ Costin- She might be over 40, but some people sound older than others. The English VO sounds younger and the Polish like maybe she's hitting the smokes. Not that it's a bad voice, just sounds so different it doesn't seem like Triss to me.

One thing that annoys me and is more apparent on my EE playthrough, is how many copy/paste faces there are on civilians. And even many of the women especially, like the different sorceresses, have really similar looking faces and similar facial structure.
Yes agreed, too many clones in random NPCs.
Cedric for instance should have had a different more unique design. Heck, I think the guy with the eye patch should have been Cedric.
