Apparently nothing. So I was told at least, I didn't verify.

Yeah, you get the same epilogue reel of an independant Upper Aedirn regardless if she's dead, cured or still controlled.

There's no reel for Stennis being alive or dead either.

I'm pretty sure there was a reel or something saying that Stennis became King and that the people loved him. Or something.

Yeah, that's the flashback you get before entering the amphitheatre.

Hmm maybe then Upper Aedirn doesn't need her anymore. Maybe Zoltan would rule if she dies. I think I'd like that.

Is it possible to allow the Kaedweni troops to keep Iorveth?

Err, I doubt that.

The likely scenario is that Upper Aedirn would start to collapse unless they find another leader, which I don't htink is Zoltan at all (he could be a military commander).

Would be hard to replace Saskia with someone who wouldn't put the interests of Dwarves, humans, elves, nobles or peasants above the rest.

Yes.

That, killing Saskia and helping Cynthia might make Iorveth path my import for a pro-Nilfgaard path in TW3...

by that point, it's a pretty dick move to abandon Iorveth. But it's good the option is there.

You can RP it by having Geralt being seduced to the dark side by Cynthia and no longer caring about him and his cause. :P

Seriously, plough the elves.

Yes, plough the races that are the source of higher technology, healing and magic. Who needs 'em. Humanity does much better on its own.

Do they have higher tech? I thought that was the dwarves and gnomes?

But yea, I like the elves personally and sympathize with even the Scoia'Tael.

I decided to put my training off to later in the afternoon, so I started playing after finals. I just saw the dragon, but what little I saw of Triss, something tells me I'm not going to be a fan of hers. I'm enjoying it so far and it looks amazing on the 360. It's not Crysis 2, but it looks amazing.

Elves never contributed anything to technology. Humanity also already had their own wizards when they came to the world and conquered it. Elves aren't particularly talented or skilled in magic in the Witcher world, at all. Only Francesca Findabair is noted as a powerful sorceress.

Also note how the Elves were originally strangers themselves, who conquered the world from the previous dominant race (the Vran, whom they nearly eradicated) and humanity are likely fugitives from a world where they lost against the Elves (who became the Wild Hunt). They just received a piece from their own medicine.

So plough the Elves indeed, and especially Francesca Findabair.

Who said anything about Dwarves and Gnomes? The elves have nothing, mean nothing, and are worth nothing.

The elves have art (yes it's important) and excellent archery skills. They have intimate knowledge of nature and environments. And they were once a great civilization. They are not worthless nor are they meaningless.

They like everyone else have their uses.

Triss is... okay. She's among my least liked of the major female characters tbh.

Oh and what knowledge do they have right now besides murdering people? None of the elves you meet except Cedric and that Blacksmith have any knowledge of anything besides killing.

And lol at Archery skills, give me a Crossbow vs an Archer any day.

As selfish as most of the characters are, I found Triss very refreshing.

You are seriously telling me that an entire race of people can only kill? You're serious? Then you criticize Yaevinn for having too much hate?
We see elves living in Flotsam and Lobinden, they do something like everyone else.

With that kind of thinking, no wonder the North is a backwater compared to Niflgaard, whose language is derived from Elven tongue.

That's why I loved Cynthia for her service to her homeland and for providing Geralt with a piece of ass for helping it. <3
