Holy shh1t.. OWNING.. that is wat I hv to say about the TW2 images. It's real sad game will eventually be cracked. I hv to buy 2 copies to support CDPR for this

Preview. I don't know if there are spoilers or not, just skimmed through. I recomend skipping to the end of the youtube link as well to avoid possible spoilers. Near the end, Geralt is fighting some remarkably large crab monsters. Combat looks great!

That does sound pretty great.

@RageGT  Same thing! I was playing Mass Effect but go so bored of it ME2 combat is just too fun. Playing Deus 1 and Invisible War to catch up before Human Revolution is out. Because when the 17th hits I won't be playing anything else for awhile.

It's crazy a company like CDPR can create one of the most awesome PC RPG to date.. I believe no other company would do the same.. They put quality on top of profit.. Kudos

Guessing they cared about the quality of the game as much as the profit? Clearly from what we have seen CDProjekt wants their baby to succeed. Just look at this.

While i agree profit is important to any organisation, but CDPR convinced me that quality comes first above anything else and profit will come later.

Those graphics really put DA2 to shame.. of course my opinion and no offense to the fans.

@Archaven While I don't think graphics are needed to make a game fun Witcher 2 has shown me it can make the game a lot more immersive. The little things we see in the screenshots add a lot.

And Iorweth, that's a great elf model. I admit I liked the DA2 elves but Witcher 2 elves look really good. Similar to humans but enough differences that you can tell it's an elf your looking at.

I agree with you. Bioware fans used to yell at those graphics lovers that great games don't need beautiful graphics. As i always said, it's true they don't need those graphics but it helps the world became more alive and immersive.. This is where they failed to understand it.

Now about Iorwerth, his ear is not significant enough to tell that he is an elf.

I actually like the fact he look so human.
When you over exaggerate the elven futures you end up with DA2 style insect-race.

TW2 elves are more subtle, I prefer it that way.
The way they dress and interact with humans, the weapons they use, its all vary consistent.
Their design reminds me of the gipsies, might be because of the dark hair.

Stores have it at least a week before it's released. So, it's almost always store employees that leak it

Yeah it's really depressing such a beautiful game being pirated from heaven to hell.. But it happens to all PC games. This is why when developer start to forget altogether about PC games and make console exclusive games. Or more to like porting console to PC to gain extra without caring being pirated or not.

360 games are ALWAYS leaked much earlier (since they don't require a crack and stuff)

I'm guessing TW2 got leaked 'cos it was much in demand. Though it won't be cracked till release day

I am playing other games so i stay away from the forums, to many spoilers at the moment.

Damn, did you guys see the video footage?  This game is looking unbelievably sharp!  It looks like the texture detail has increased significantly from the beta version that was first shown.
I can't wait to play this game at 2560x1600 maxed out! 

Also I wonder how exactly the Ultimate Swordsman's suit will give Geralt?  Increasing swordsmanship abilities sound a bit vague..

I don't think it has anything to do with how much in demand the game is. All it takes is one person wiling to steal it, and where there's a will there's a way.

The master disc was taken to the coping factory 27/04, since than there was plenty of time to snatch it. I'm not sure what production stage the game is at the moment, if indeed its already in stores, than thats probably where its was stolen.

I once visited a coping factory, I was supposed to pick up some documents.
The security seemed pretty tight. No electronic equipment was allowed on the promises, I was accompanied by an employee at all times, and they only let me take the documents once I got a written permit with about a billion signatures on it.

Taking it from a store where there is little, or no security is probably the easiest way.

Anyways, what's done, is done. Let's hope the pirating will be minimal

Well, it might be a bit longer form me, since I have a work related trip scheduled during the week of release ( to the other side of freaking Europe) plus my brother just overlocked my PC to oblivion.

Eh, I went and got the finisher pack instead. I mean, c'mon it hs motion-captured animations too.

Those screens are gorgeous, but I skipped past most of them. Dang, I hate embedded subtitles in pre-release screenshots.

BTW: Currently many comments on the leaked torrent states that people should buy this game even if they don't buy games otherwise. Also, It's useless without the extra 50 MB.

So I can pay for my GOG preorder tonight as well? I havent recieved any email from them regarding that.

Also, the elf on 3rd screenshot appears to be a half-elf. :happy:
