The saving Triss mission is good in terms of role playing possibilities. We can decide what motivated Geralt to do this and how he feels about Triss.

Still, I prefer to see Letho saving her. It makes Letho that much more awesome, but it also leaves the Geralt - Triss relationship sour. It's subtle, but Triss is cold to a Geralt who abandoned her.

"Did I hear someone complaining about the riddles being too easy?"

Lol. I love Geralt's humor.

I borked Melitele's Heart by not rolling for the troll's head. Is it worth it to go back?

Yup. Everybodys favorite drunken elf has everything for that quest, except the Endryga embryo, if I remember that correctly.

Doh, I decided it wasn't worth reloading and now Cedric was just sent off by Bambi into the next life.  Hm, maybe that much I can backtrack.

Poor Cedric.  :crying:

That's not as bad as when I realized I forgot to get the Dragon's dream diagram from Thaler's messenger... half way into chapter 2 on my last Iorveth path run. :(

Forgot to start Mystic River on my last playthrough. Noticed it in chapter three when I had constructed the other three Elder items -.-

Also not to factor in how the fate of the Lodge is affected depending on your decision.  Metagaming aside, it was a tough choice.  Esp. when you're sitting there facing the eyeless Philippa.

I just watched the Witcher 1 story recap, and isn't the Order portrayed as beign too "evil"? I mean I know they weren't noble knights protecting everyone or anything like that, but i didn't think they were that "evil"... or was i just that blind to what they were really doing?

Jacques was pretty much evil although his motivations really kinda make sense... A big case of "he has a good point" He saw a big problem for the future and was trying to rid it by whatever means possible. The only outright evil thing was the Super mutant-esque Knights. The order itself wasn't evil imo

If anything other than their actions in Chapter V and the epilogue they were portrayed in a far more positive light than the Scoia'tael. The Scoia'tael were portrayed as this bandits in Chapter I who later massacred village on the outskirts and are led by this stand-offish douche Yaevinn who makes no secret his contempt for humans while the Order are these knights who defend the populace from monsters and the Scoia'tael and who have this genuinely friendly and helpful fellow Siegfried representing them.

They don't massacre any villages in my game.  It's the Order that  initiates a sneak attack while Geralt is negotiating a truce (against Rayla's orders, though she was ready to hang everyone in the village as collaborators anyway).  Also the Order are pretty douchey, especially if you're playing a Scoia'tael game.  Their bigotry is just more latent.  For instance the dwarven blacksmith in Vizima tells you his tools were stolen around the time the Order blacksmith got a new set just like them.  Siegfried's hatred of non-humans comes out if he's angry at you.

They massacre the outskirts village after you deal with the Reverend and Abigail.

It's mentioned in passing by several people(can't recall who). It may or may not be tied to whether Geralt denied them the Hawker's goods.

Yes but I can't recall if they weren't killed when I gave them the goods in my Scoia'tael path run.

It doesn't matter actually, now that I remember, the massacre is mentioned regardless of what you do there.
