Still, I prefer to see Letho saving her. It makes Letho that much more awesome, but it also leaves the Geralt - Triss relationship sour. It's subtle, but Triss is cold to a Geralt who abandoned her.

I borked Melitele's Heart by not rolling for the troll's head. Is it worth it to go back?
You can also buy the Tongue from Cedric.

Yup. Everybodys favorite drunken elf has everything for that quest, except the Endryga embryo, if I remember that correctly.

Doh, I decided it wasn't worth reloading and now Cedric was just sent off by Bambi into the next life. Hm, maybe that much I can backtrack.Seboist wrote...

The saving Triss mission is good in terms of role playing possibilities. We can decide what motivated Geralt to do this and how he feels about Triss.

Also not to factor in how the fate of the Lodge is affected depending on your decision. Metagaming aside, it was a tough choice. Esp. when you're sitting there facing the eyeless Philippa.

They don't massacre any villages in my game. It's the Order that initiates a sneak attack while Geralt is negotiating a truce (against Rayla's orders, though she was ready to hang everyone in the village as collaborators anyway). Also the Order are pretty douchey, especially if you're playing a Scoia'tael game. Their bigotry is just more latent. For instance the dwarven blacksmith in Vizima tells you his tools were stolen around the time the Order blacksmith got a new set just like them. Siegfried's hatred of non-humans comes out if he's angry at you.Seboist wrote...
If anything other than their actions in Chapter V and the epilogue they were portrayed in a far more positive light than the Scoia'tael. The Scoia'tael were portrayed as this bandits in Chapter I who later massacred village on the outskirts and are led by this stand-offish douche Yaevinn who makes no secret his contempt for humans while the Order are these knights who defend the populace from monsters and the Scoia'tael and who have this genuinely friendly and helpful fellow Siegfried representing them.

Huh? Where did you get this information?
It's mentioned in passing by several people(can't recall who). It may or may not be tied to whether Geralt denied them the Hawker's goods.

And you denied them? Just curios cause I do remember some mention of it.
Yes but I can't recall if they weren't killed when I gave them the goods in my Scoia'tael path run.
