Letho never claimed or even implied he thought that. he believes that the Witchers need to adapt to the new order to survive. That will require serving the state. Something I agree with, the old Witcher ways are dead, killed by the same people it was meant to protect.

I thought in his final chat with Geralt he says he plans to disappear and just wants to be left alone.

He tells Geralt that he wants to be on his way and that Geralt will never see him again. He never said he wants to disappear.

He even says "time to go South, where the good life awaits." or something like that.

And where do you get that?

Yaevinn denies that he wants to eliminate humans.  He talks about driving them into the sea but I think that is figurative and speaking out of frustration.  They have political goals just like Roche does.  Some better than others.

When Iorveth speaks about the pacification of Mahakam, there's no reason to doubt that he's speaking the truth.  Just look at how the Romans would pacify an area.  If they couldn't do it by buying off the leaders, they would do it by picking an entire tribe to slaughter down to the last man, woman and child, or crucify hundreds or thousands to set an example.  I'm sure it's the same thing we're talking about here.  Or like the Ottomans who would pick a few villages to terrorize in especially brutal fashion in order to empty the countryside in places they wanted to occupy.  Do you really think the Blue Stripes are above that kind of thing when that's exactly the sort of thing they exist for?

It's too bad that Iorveth doesn't mention Yaevinn at all, or Geralt helping the Scoia'tael in TW1.  I guess the idea is that the Scoia'tael units are more or less independent?

He does actually if you go talk to him in Chapter 2 around the Scoia'tael shacks if you imported a Scoia'tael path run.

Addai67: Because there is factual evidence to prove they really hate humans burn and slaughter entire villages just because of hatred? That's where I get it. Oh or you think Yaevinn wouldn't butcher hundreds of thousands when he attacked a hospital at Brenna just because he hated humans?

They're goals during the war with Nilfgaard were political, but that doesn't mean they didn't butcher humans just because they enjoyed it, in fact they did. After the war ended they had no goal but they still kept butchering human villages for no real reason.

The Blue Stripes were created to deal with the Scoia'Tel during the last war with Nilfgaard, they were not created to deal with rebellions or anything like that, that they do it is another matter, but why the hell should I believe Roche is a murderer of women and children based only on the account of ONE Scoia'Tel who really hates him and wants him dead? Iorveth is biased and hates humans.

You just don't want to accept the fact that the Scoia'Tel who you like are brutal murderers and terrorists when there is plenty of evidence to support this. I have always accepted the fact that Roche is brutal, ruthless and enjoys torture. That he may or may not have butchered rebeling non-human communities is another thing.

I think parry may be bugged now. At level two, I take zero damage when blocking, but that's not what the ability description implies, and furthermore, it's way over powered like this.

That is not true; They do it because they have been opressed for a long time and see no other way to ever break free of human oppression.

There are probably some d!cks among them who enjoy killing, but if you honestly think Roche or the other humans are one bit better, you would be very delusional. He doesnt even deny it himself.

And dont even get me started about the people in Flotsam, or most humans in TW1. If the game would allow me to, I would join the Scoia'Tael just to kill them all myself.

It's not a useless comment, it is a matter of taste. The graphics are sure special, and while I personally like them, I can also see why some wouldnt (especially if one plays on lower settings).

As for the gameplay, I actually agree. Huuuuge step down compared to TW1.
