Prince Penis is indeed stupid.
But it's kind of understandable in the context he is in. He expected to go to Upper Aedirn and be hailed a hero, only to see that the people hate him and follow another leader, who is his only capable military commander. In such a dilema, Penis is so stuck up against the wall that he loses it. That and he is quite clearly not a natural politician.
you mean Stenis

Raddy should school Penis in politics then.

Not only Penis, but Incest as well. Can't find a name for Henselt.

A pig's name does not suit Henselt.
You mean the same pig who basically claimed Saskia for himself in chapter two?
I've no Idea why you venerate the guy.

Oh no reason at all really. He's done for Kaedwen what Saskia will not achieve for her own subjects, that Saskia's ideals might survive the fall of her state is an entirely different matter.
I'm not going to deny he's a bastard, just like I won't deny Roche is a ruthless torturer, but I don't share the same narrow view some people have on characters, especially Henselt and even Loredo ( who yes is scum ). To dismiss Henselt as a pig is the same to me as dismising Letho as just a murderer.

The problem is you have to level to the gameplay and not for roleplay's sake. You can't build a character based on what you think Geralt should be able to do. Though truth be told, that was never a strength of the Witcher games.Costin_Razvan wrote...
It's a pathetic boss fight if you get behind him and stunlock him. He dies quickly.
The trick is of course to get behind him. Truth be told I like the balance of TW2 combat. Enemies can be though, do a lot of damage and all that, but CDPR doesn't really on stupid HD or armor on foes to make them a challenge and it's quite satysfing when you build up Geralt in such a way that he is doing a ton of damage..
I also remembered why I didn't take those roll perks- the Geraltcopter is back.
Oh well, I hate TW2's combat, that's no secret.
Geralt's a witcher. He has swords, signs, rolling, parrying, potions, bombs and oils regardless of how you level him up. That leveling certain abilities make him more effective does not change it.
And to me gameplay is not something you strap on about just to be add to the RP value of an RPG, like in Skyrim, in that we differ. I view gameplay as something crucial to a game in it's own right.
There is frankly no other RPG with as good a gameplay in terms of design and balance as TW2 and an awesome story ( so that discounts Dark Souls and Demon Souls ).

About Henselt: I caught an interesting ambient convo between Geralt and Saskia. Don't know if it is dependent on earlier convo choices you might have made. At any rate, paraphrased from memory:
Saskia: I didn't know you were interested in politics.
Geralt: (disgusted) I'm not interested in politics.
But you fight for Aedirn.
I'm not fighting for Aedirn. I'm fighting for Zoltan... for Yarpen...
Would you fight at Henselt's side if they did?
No dwarf would fight for Henselt.
Underscores that his treatment of non-humans is widely known and despised.

The one dwarf in Henselt's camp makes that interpretation false......and Yarpen fought for Henselt in the wars with Nilfgaard. I personally always got that conversation but my Geralt told Saskia he doesn't believe any revolution can ultimately be sucessful.
There is nothing in-game to indicate that Henselt persecutes non-humans more then most rulers do, in fact if there is one who does, or well did, it's Demavend based on what Skalen tells you. Saskia's opinion of Henselt ( though she states he is persecuting non-humans, nothing more ) is irrelevant considering she calls Foltest a tyrant.

We've been over this- yes there is. Not only the trailer but his journal entry. No one disputes good riddance to Demavend. As for Yarpen, there seems to be some confusion, as the journal entry says he was serving Henselt and the books (according to the wiki) that he was in Demavend's secret service. Obviously, whichever it was, he's not fighting for them anymore.Costin_Razvan wrote...

I think the dwarf in Henselt's camp is just a trader and craftsman.
The comment is just Geralt's interpretation, though, obviously.

Henselt was the only king who was actually offended by the dwarf parade after the peace of CIntra. The other kings kind of admited they deserved it.

Plus he secured his position in one swift act of violence that people like Radovid would hope to emulate..

Is it common that during the mini-cutscene that plays when you have someone stunned with aard and are instant killing them that you get your ass handed to you while you have no control over it or am I just desperately unlucky?
A glitch, unfortunately it happens. On PC there's a mod to disable cutscene finishers. On xbox you're hosed. Everyone's been begging them to release a proper patch to disable them.

Hating non-humans does not mean he is doing anything worse to them then what Radovid and Foltest did, or since did hating someone mean you surely killed them. The Dwarf in Henselt's camp is a sapper.

I'm on Xbox. I've spend more than 60 hours on this game. This never happened to me. I guess i'm just lucky?
