It's a hell lot more dangerous to sanction a lynching then to allow someone who might have been responsible of a crime to walk free.

Of course they'll proclaim him king. As Dandelion says during Geralt's investigation, the nobles will forgive him anything even if he is guilty. They don't want to lose their heads once Penis loses his. And the people who'll sit at this trial will be nobles themselves as Geralt points out. He'll be sure to promise them land and titles if they find him innocent.Addai67 wrote...
If Stennis ever gets a trial, they never say- the nobles just proclaim him king. That's not much of a state, either.

But if she dies then Stennis being found guilty or not is irrelevant, since the state collapses.

Yeah, but seriously.. is it not inevitable? What with them teasing two AAA+ games due for 2013/2014 and then having one of the options for the 2 possible projects to be hired for as: "RPG in a Dark Fantasy World" with the following text on the post:
Not to mention how obvious it is that Geralt's story isn't finished, just yet. I suppose the only point of contention is whether or not they announce it on May 30th or a later in the year. I'm sure we're all hoping for sooner, rather than later. :]"Our mature dark-fantasy world is well known around the world, though if you can’t stomach dwarves, elves or sorceresses who put their ample charms on display in Playboy magazine..."

Excuse me, but where did you get that info from? I've searched the web(in both, polish and english) and there's no info about any CDPR summer conference on May 30th...

Correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't they said that they wouldn't make an expansion? I'm really not sure, i believe i read it somewhere.Costin_Razvan wrote...
I think it's a bit unrealistic to expect them to announce TW3 now....but an expansion? Perhaps.
Anyway, yes, Witcher 3 now would be a bit harsh, but not entirely impossible(even though i would prefer it if they took their time), however, they did said that Witcher 3 would come out faster than 2, since now they know the technology works better, so a Witcher 3 announcement can't be THAT far.
Late 2012-Early 2013, maybe?

Combat gets alot better once you get used to it. Depends on what you mean by occasional immaturity.Russalka wrote...
Okay, I am finally submitting to Witcher 2's allure. Please tell me the combat and the occasional immaturity are not as bad as they seem.

I didn't play much of the first game and didn't feel like I was missing out on much really. You could always read the story on the wikia too if you feel like you're missing too much.

Yup ,you miss a bit... and if you don't like the game from the very beginning you prolly won't like it later on either.
Combat does require some getting used to and there's ABSOLUETLY no immaturity in TW2 as I see it...
